I don't know if this question has been asked before. But, i thought time doesn't exist in the astral-plane... Now, i've read that Einstein also said that time does not exist on earth. That the past, present and the future are happening simulteneously. How is that possible? asked 23 Sep '11, 20:17 Chosen-one Barry Allen ♦♦ |
The past, present and future are all happening simultaneously because there is only one moment in time that exists, has ever existed or will ever exist. The name we have collectively agreed upon to give to that single moment is..."NOW". It is literally the only moment in history. That moment is history itself. The only thing that shifts is our perspective of that single moment. We just view it in different ways. As our perspective shifts, we observe that single moment from different vantage points. And, in our physical reality, we interpret that movement through our perspectives as a serially-based concept we call "time" because our physical vantage point is only capable of interpreting that movement in a linear one-perspective-at-a-time fashion. It's a bit like having a series of static photos to look through. Each photo by itself represents an individual "perspective" and each one, by itself, has limited meaning. But if you string them all together and view them quickly one after the other, you create for yourself the illusion of something continuous happening...some kind of "movement" through time, you could say...but it's really just an illusion. In non-physical realities, we can experience that movement in "parallel" if we wish to do so, so the concept of "linear time" then becomes more obviously a concept of "multiple perspectives"...the ability to see multiple photos at the same time. In other words, we can more clearly perceive the past, present and future as all being the same moment seen from a different point of view. As an additional analogy to help you get your head around this, you can take a look at the 'Bullet Time' scene in The Matrix movie. Watch how the camera's perspective shifts around the event...it might give you a better feeling for the idea. There's some more information about these ideas in: Quantum physics and the LOA. To go deeply into this idea I find it helpful to consider the idea of eternity. Eternity means forever, always or throughout time. However, what you may not have considered is that by its very nature, the true definition of eternity means without beginning and without end. And that’s one way to understand why: Time is Always Relative And if you say: no it’s not, while at the same time you consider that we exist now somewhere along the scale of eternity, which never had a beginning nor will it ever have and ending; then where did time that’s absolute or non-relative start? So time is always relative to a starting point that we define as a beginning. We invent calendars and clocks to record the passage of time from the starting point, which is a collective arbitrary decision, and there can be no space without this arbitrary time that we invented. Think about it. It takes time to travel the distance or space between A to B, but without time that space doesn’t exist, cannot exist. Thus, space and time are inseparable like two sides of the same coin; they’re a single unit of measurement. So time and, by definition, space, are always relative and are both concepts that are created and used by our collective consciousness to navigate this 4 dimensional time-space reality called life on Earth. Once we grasp this truth, we begin to remember and understand that the only real time is now and the only real place is here. Now Change Understanding, by its very nature, is limiting. Our limited consciousness cannot encompass All That Is and pin it down to a set of beliefs and labels, which are definitions, and say: finally I understand it all. All That Is is forever growing and expanding into something new, without end, ever. Even if we could take a snapshot of All That Is, in the moment we did so the next moment has already changed, so All That Is is no longer the same. And thus each moment is a complete discrete standalone universe unto itself. Thus, while we may perceive that a plant grew overnight. Really, what we perceive as growth is actually us perceiving and experiencing one piece of creation at a time, we see one picture or image at a time and then another and another and another, ad infinitum... Think about watching a movie. A reel of individual single shot frames or images spin around in sequence at 24 frames per second passing through light that’s projected onto a screen, giving the illusion of linear movement. Each frame on the reel is different, just as our experience of the now moment is different. Our experience of the now moment can never be repeated in all of its complexity; each moment is a standalone discrete universe unto itself. So what we perceive as movement or growth is really our consciousness or perspective changing focus and seeing a different part or frame of the existing movie of our life experience - one frame at a time, thus creating the illusion of continuity and growth. Parallel Realities If you think about it, because each moment is a discrete universe unto itself, any change implies constantly and continually moving through an infinite number of parallel realities. Thus, our experience of life is really us moving through a series of similar, yet discrete parallel universes. We’ll probably never really understand everything and definitely not from our limited physical human perspective, as everything ends up in paradox anyway. For instance, while we perceive reality from our unique perspective, one of an infinite number of probable and possible Universal points of view; all realities must be happening now because chronological or linear time is a construct of this reality: it doesn’t exist independently. So it must rationally, reasonably and logically follow that all realities and all interactions are occurring simultaneously and that every player in the drama of life is you. So in effect there’s only one of us here and all conversations are between I and I or me and me :) And again, paradoxically, while there’s only the present moment of now, it’s in a state of constant flux due to universal expansion; so the now is always changing forevermore. In other words change is the only constant. The Nature of Time While we agree to use the idea of time and hence space to navigate through our 3rd density time-space reality, time, like matter, doesn’t have an independent objective reality of its own, but rather, we create time to exist within. Remember those times when you were so absorbed in doing something that you enjoy or love doing a lot and being shocked as to how much time had passed once you’d finished what you were doing? Maybe you thought an hour had passed, but when you looked at the time - four hours had actually passed and you couldn’t quite believe it. The reason for the seemingly missing time is because when we’re doing what we love there’re far fewer details to weigh up and consider and so less time needs to be created by us to complete the task on hand. And from the act of living in the now moment and because we’ve created less time, there’s less time for us to biologically age, so we age at a slower rate. 8-D answered 24 Sep '11, 06:07 Eddie @Eddie "So in effect there's only one of us here and all conversations are between I and I or me and me :)" I don't understand this - can you explain this a bit further please?

Time is just an illusion for what exactly is time on earth? It is nothing more than a unit of measure for the movement of life. Does life move? You bet it does for everything moves or dies. From the smallest of subatiomic particles to the cells in our bodies to the solar system and the very universe it all vibrates and moves. So that means that life on our beautiful planet is measured by a unit man named time but that is all it is a unit of measure. But there is only ever the present moment and it all happens in the present, or as is more commonly called the now. How come? Well we can only experiance whatever it is we are experiancing in the now. We are only ever aware of of what we are experiancing and going through in the very moment it happens. Yesterday is gone but it happened in the now of yesterday and tomorrow isnt here yet but it will be here in the now of tomorrow. Inotherwords whatever we are conscious of happening is happening in the now. Yes we can do a bit of time traveling but only in our minds by thinking of yesterday and imagining tommorow. Whenever we think or imagine this way we do so in the present moment for we bring it to our consciousness in the present. So yes you could say that all our perceptive realities the past, future and the now are all now. answered 24 Sep '11, 05:01 Paulina 1 1
'The rule is, jam to-morrow and jam yesterday--but never jam to-day.' 'It MUST come sometimes to "jam to-day,"' Alice objected. 'No, it can't,' said the Queen. 'It's jam every OTHER day: to-day isn't any OTHER day, you know.' 'I don't understand you,' said Alice. 'It's dreadfully confusing!' 'That's the effect of living backwards,' the Queen said kindly: 'it always makes one a little giddy at first--' 'Living backwards!' Alice repeated in great astonishment. 'I never heard of such a thing!' '--but there's one great advantage in it, that one's memory works both ways.'

well time is man made. man decided that movement of the rotation of the earth around the sun is one day, that the movement of the earth around the sun is one year. etc. so if nothing would move man would not have created that concept of time. i will tell you that everything happens now. the interesting question is how long is the now. because when something happens when does it start and when does it end. example: someone have to fix a flat tire on is car but decide to not fix it the next day he is having a flat lose control and get accident then he goes to the hospital. the guy in the hospital ask him self why did this happen. so all that happen because of a choice now you see past present future all in the now. so make wise choice in the now. then you can change the story in the now. did jesus awareness of the now explain what he said? because saying this means that he was aware before abraham was born. "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" i will also add that sometime you can know stuff from the future in the now.before someone make a choice. or you can see it in dream. you will ask how long in dream you can see forward in time days weeks months years. i will tell you that all that is in the now. http://www.inwardquest.com/questions/14268/did-anyone-dream-about-the-future-of-the-people-they-know http://www.inwardquest.com/questions/13774/has-anyone-experienced-lucid-dreaming-into-the-future experience and enjoy. answered 24 Sep '11, 01:48 white tiger Way to go Tiger. To understand this idea, that the past, present and future exist concurrently, one must first understand that the human race on Earth is caught in a time loop. I don't mean time loop as repeating sequences of events, but rather being stuck in time - linear time. As time is fluid (non-linear) those who are stuck in time are in a time loop. On Earth we are all - at various levels of degrees - stuck in a time loop. The main reason for this is because we are experiencing disconnection from our Higher Self and Spirit. Other reasons are, of course, massive global manipulation via programmed behaviour and beliefs, set round and by, linear timetables, linear time schedules, linear timekeepers, time zones, etc. Human beings are the sentient species on this planet, and yet, we are the only species on this planet that are in a time loop: the only species on this planet that does not live in the ever-present NOW moment during all moments. We are governed by time of day, day of the week, Day Light Saving Time, Time of the Year, month of the year, year of the century, century of the millennium, etc. Some would say that - in regards to linear time - we are gauging it. Sure we can behave as though linear time exists, and from this behaviour stems the belief that it does, thus creating a programmed 'reality', like believing the world is flat by behaving as though it were. But how can one gauge something that does not exist? Well, somebody found a way and put it into exercise (just like money), and it wasn't somebody who had our best interests in mind. Planetary rotations and dimensions play an integral role in this, just as our behaviour and beliefs do, but it is the triad division of our overall consciousness ('living' consciousness, sub-consciousness, and unconsciousness) that primarily keeps us in a time loop. Past, present, and future all occur in the same NOW moment. This is fluid time. What we think is linear time is actually a vast - perhaps infinite - array of vibrational frequency coordinates and probabilities, through which all of us are constantly - to varying degrees - shifting rapidly. So if there is only the NOW, there is no such thing as travelling linearly to the past or future, as one is doing such travelling in the NOW. So, in regards to time travelling, what is actually happening here is shifting from one specific vibrational frequency coordinate to another. This shift is not linear; there is no travelling backwards or forwards. There is only shifting a NOW vibrational frequency coordinate to another NOW vibrational frequency coordinate, via an electrical source transmission: consciousness, technology, or a combination of the two. We already do this consciously and sub-consciously every moment. But, because we are caught in a linear time loop, we are unaware that we are actually doing the shifting consciously and sub-consciously via programmed beliefs and behaviour! How to break the time loop trap? The first step in removing oneself from a trap is to acknowledge one is in a trap. The second is to understand the mechanics of the trap, and how it works. answered 09 Mar '15, 22:10 TGunn |
