You are immortal. Only your body dies. You don't die. You are not your body. You are spirit.

Don't let this statement frighten you. But in a way you die every night when you go to sleep, except you soul is connected to your body by a tread of life (called a golden thread).

You, pretty much, leave your body every night & return to it when you wake up. My grandmother, when close to hear death drifted in and out of consciousness many times & a few of these times all functions including the heart & the brain stopped working.

When she came out of it she described the experience exactly as having a dream.

We don't really die. Death is merely an ending of all vital functions in our physical body but our higher self or soul lives on. Just as up cannot exist without down, good without bad, left without right etc.etc., endings cannot exist without beginnings - death without birth. Even in the forest, the dead trees or rotten foliage go back to the earth and contribute to the birth of new plants. So instead of perceiving it as an ending, perceive it instead as a transition from one state to another. It is just a part of the cycle of Life.

We are non-physical beings and extensions of a bigger non-physical conciousness. Coming to this planet in these physical bodies was just an experience that we wanted to have. But we all came here with the intention of going back, not to stay here.

Therefore, if we are all non-physical beings, then there is no death, just going back to who we really are, non-physical beings.

In this physical world, death is an integral part of the cycle of life. It is part of the natural order. Without death, nature would become unbalanced. If you think about it for a moment, you will realize this is true. How would it work if everything was immortal, if nothing ever died? What would everyone (and everything) eat? Would there be space for an infinite number of creatures?

I don't think I want to be immortal anyway. I waste enough time as it is. ;)

God didn't make us immortal because of a reason we cannot understand yet. Maybe its so that mankind would cherish life even when there is hard ship because every man knows there is an end.

I don't believe in life-after-death, but thats just my opinion.

We have to die, because we have all sinned. The Bible teaches that the wages of sin is death, and none of us have come short of the wages of sin, so we have to die. God created man with the best of intentions to live and be happy, in the garden of Eden with him. He gave man everthing to make him happy, and to be fulfilled. He created a woman, for the man for his companion. The only thing he asked of the two of them was not to eat from a certain tree in the Garden. Satan came along, and tempted them to eat of the same tree, and they listened to Satan, and they disobeyed God. Of course God was very angry with them, and he drove them out of the Garden of Eden and eternal life.

So given that we are all the off springs of our first parents, and as the Bible teaches, the sins of the parents will fall upon the children, and their children etc. God condemmed Adam, and Eve because they sinned, and the wages of sin is death. Jesus the son of God died on the Cross to save us from sin, and hell; and on the third day he rose again from the dead, and he went up to sit on the right hand of his father God in Heaven. He will come again, to judge the living, and the dead, to give us a chance of eternal life.

When we are born into this world, and is given this life to live freely, we are also given a certain amount of time in this world to live this life; and when our time is up in this world, we are call back to sleep in death. But the soul, the spirit of truth within shall never die, only the physical body shall return to the dust from whence it came.

Yes, you are immortal and yes, when you die it's about changing the position of your assemblage point, of focus, of perception.

You DO live multiple lives but it's not exactly reincarnation as we know it. You see reincarnation suggests that you end One life and start another. When that concept is all well and good except linear time as a valid concept for us ceased existing some time ago. Time is an illusion and the only time is NOW. Which means that ALL lives, ALL realities, ALL universes co-exist NOW, in the ONlY place that exists.

So for millenniums people used to believe; "ok so if I'm immortal and I reincarnate I can just "kick-it-back in this life and wait for another.") Well the thing is that THIS you that is having the experience of life right NOW will not exist anymore.

We are the part and parcel of an oversoul, a bigger soul who has partitioned itself into smaller portions called sub-souls, which are us. Each sub-soul plays a specific role, a theme in the physical reality for the sake of the oversoul to gain experience from them All at once. That's why sometimes you can meet someone that you can feel an instant attraction, a longing, affection and so forth. It can simply mean that you met another sub-soul of your oversoul.

So why do we HAVE to die? We DON'T have to do ANYTHING! THe thing is we are so powerful that we control our birth and death and so forth. We do it with our oversoul to go at certain times and be born in certain circumstances to get the lessons that we are suppose to learn. When people die it's because they CHOOSE to die. THe only thing is they do it UNCONSCIOUSLY, which simply means they don't know they have the choice, but they do.

Most people aren't ready to accept that notion, but so what? Just by reading these words and trying to find your way in life, 99% of people in the world would say your crazy. They said the same thing about Copernicus. Well what's heresy yesterday, is tomorrows truth.

So don't worry if your going to die or not. Live your life like YOU ARE ALREADY DEAD! If you do that you will enjoy EVERY moment of life. You will fly and dance and sing with life it's tune. BE excited ALL THE TIME. Be love, light and laugh (the 3 Ls' :)

Why do we die?

Because it is the only way we can be prodded on to think in new ways. Older folk find change difficult... so God helps them lol New life, new challenges (oftentime with the same soul family whose faces have changed).

Why aren't we immortal...

we - bodies - because they tend to get a bit untidy as we age.. we - souls - we are almost immortal ? Second death ?? we - spirits are immortal.

I wonder if we really need to die or have we as a whole decided it is the best way to let go because we don't know or are not ready in our spiritual growth to continue in a peaceful productive way. We are part of the God energy and I know this pisses people off but I think we are god. We have been told by every guru and jesus that we are powerful beyond measure. I truly beleive that when and I mean when not if ( I have great faith in us) we all come from a place of love and have let greed and fear go, we will have the choice of not going through the dying process. I beleive that when we let go of the monkey mind of reproduction, ego and get a grip we could live on any planet and or dimension without rapping it or abusing it But....ALL of us must agree. Mind blowingly big I know, considering how many souls are on this planet not to mention possible other planets. I think we have agreed at this time that dying is the best thing for us until we ALL move up on the spiritual ladder. We must come to an understanding of how precious All life is. WE use such a small part of our brain and it's amazing what we could do with it if it were in full throttle. There is a reason we can't. WE are not ready as a whole. WE are as weak as our weakest link. I truly beleive we have the power to keep on living. But until we all hold this and understand, we will keep going through this cycle. It's all about love folks, like it or not, it's that simple. My belief anyway. What do you think?

One reason we all die is, if we didn't we would run out of room on the planet. Another, is that's the way God planned it. Don't question it, accept it and death of you or your loved ones will be much easier to accept.

There are several ways to reason death, but the reason that is most apparent to me is. The universal process in which we all are a part of with out a doubt. The universe is energy and each soul is a subject in that energy field. Each soul must live and generate energy in order to keep the universe alive. We do this by generating feelings towards thoughts .Such is why knowledge is such a primary factor. Because it feeds our emotional intake which generates energy from with in us. In in order for us to generate the amount of energy required of us to form the energy to produce life we must gather great amounts of thought/energy. we do this by taking different classes. Both in each stage of life as well as each realm of existence . until we have fully reached a higher power being that still feeds the universe from the heavens. A soul must Constitute of several realms of reality to fully form the finished product which well reside and serve in the heavens of the universe, as prime factor in the energy field. If you look at the way life is structured for a human in seance of its educational growth pattern you can see that it mirrors its own universal pattern. For a soul of energy to fully progress to its full potential it must educate to such a degree that it is worthy of its potion. The universe both explains this to us as well as takes us threw it. Which is the universal process for life progressing forward. So death is a big part of the process that keeps life going. If we didn't die and progress it would all burn out. Ever realm of existence that we encounter is the equivalence of a class taking on earth as man just in a much much higher magnitude if you will. we collect knowledge which creates stronger energy with in us, and helps us sever the universal power behind life as we know it. Pretty cool system I would have to say, and the coolest thing is the fact that we are able to recognize this fact. How awesome is that ? You may try to visualize it like this. When your in collage taking courses and you finish one class you progress to the next leave a new class room. Taking with you only the knowledge you gained from it. Now magnify that experience to a universal scale image. How might that look to you ? To me it would look like life and death, from one life room to the next until I graduated . And when I die I have passed this lesson . How many lesson there are and how are they generated and such I'm not sure but am confident about this much of it so far ... V.R.

Existence is immortal. Everything changes form. Death is one of the most dramatic occurrences of this change. Life is a recycling system. The life we eat must also experience this change. Can you picture what happens to the life we eat? We all experience immortality at death, which can be pleasurable or displeasurable, depending on the gravity of our negativity.
