For me, channeling is sitting down in front of a laptop computer keyboard in a comfortable chair, closing my eyes and just letting my fingers go. When I do this, I often feel my head moving around quite a bit by itself as though the muscles in my neck are adjusting themselves. When I feel like I have locked on to a signal, my fingers start typing extremely rapidly (I am a fairly proficient touch typist in everyday life) and a flood of information comes out, usually relating to things I have been thinking about in my everyday life. While I am typing, it all just seems like a stream of random sentences. But when the experience is over and I look back at what has been typed, I am often quite surprised at some of the profound writing that has seemingly come out of nowhere. I've been doing this on and off for a few years, often spaced apart by many months, and usually only when I feel inspired to do so. I should probably try this more often because the experience is always immensely uplifting. But there are usually too many other interesting things going on in my life to distract me from doing it :) I haven't yet applied this process to answering a question on Inward Quest. I might try it one day and see what happens. :) UPDATE I came across the following channelling guidelines on the Kryon website which I thought were very good and have requoted them below. Guidelines for discernment when channelling
answered 26 Feb '10, 18:55 Stingray I look forward to that day - if or when you do, will we be able to differentiate that answer from your usual answers? I mean that as a compliment, your answers usually seem inspired.

Thanks for the compliment, Michaela. :) Because of the rather busy lifestyle I seem to have manifested for myself these days, a lot of my answers are actually blasted out in a rush, usually while doing other things, so I guess it's quite possible that I'm tapping into whatever-it-is already from time to time. Most of the answers come out pretty much as you see them, apart from the odd typing mistake, so it may well be a form of channeling. I wouldn't be surprised if quite a few of us here are tapping into something bigger than ourselves with our answers

I wish I could touch-type as you do, Stingray (I have a problem with left-right brain dominance...i.e., a learning disability)...I have to hand-write my stream-of-consciousness stuff, but typing seems a better way. It is amazing what comes out, isn't it? I agree with you; a lot of what comes out here seems to come from "up there"! Thanks for all your great answers! Blessings, Jai

Channelling can be dangerous in that, that which is channelled is assumed to be correct because it came via unusual means. We assume that the source of the message is Good and that it is Superior to us. This is not necessarily the case. If I were 'the devil' it would be one of the first methods I would choose to alter people's perception of the Truth. Think newspapers, or any media for that matter, they feed us the information that they want us to see. Our brains are computers that 'others' can use as well as us. How to test the incoming messages? Hard to do if we are asking questions about biblical stories etc... Don't know the answer to that. Some famous channellers have stood the test of time and prophecy.. I am a great fan of Edgar Cayce, and even he did not get it right 100% of the time. His channelled cures on the other hand were the springboard for many of our modern day therapies and medicines. answered 05 Mar '10, 00:23 Inactive User ♦♦ |
why would anny one channel famous people? leave the dead alone! if they have something to tell you they will come by free will! and not all spirit that come talk to you are evolve some are lost they did not know the light and are trap in a world of there own making! so do not play with what you don't control! answered 22 Apr '11, 08:06 white tiger |
