I am new to this, but I have managed to manifest some things already, about which I am feeling totally happy and proud of myself. Even so, at some point of the day, doubts pop up in my head. I try to prevent them as I know they block the flow of the manifesting process. Even so doubts appear from time to time. Why does this happen? What can I do to fight them? asked 18 May '10, 15:28 BridgetJones09 |
Any negative emotion simply means you are currently focused on something that is out of alignment with how the broader part of you is focused.
Who says you need to fight them? Sounds to me like all that's happened is you've just found yourself another Focus Block Topic. :) I know it's nice to get your manifestations but the thing is that once you get this one, you'll then want something else, and then something else, and then something else, and then...and so on. You're never going to be in a place where you have everything you want so you might as well relax a bit about it :) Life is always going to be bringing you new things to come into alignment with (i.e. more Focus Blocks Topics) no matter how hard you try to get it all perfect...that's what physical life is for - the generation of new desire...so don't be so hard on yourself for just being alive :) In fact, the better way to judge how well you are doing is how many new desires (or Focus Blocks Topics) you are launching. Yes, seriously. The more new desires you have for things/experiences that haven't manifested yet, the more exciting and fulfilling your life will be as you align with them - those desires will be pulling a tremendous amount of life-energy through you making you feel more alive than you will have ever felt before. Those newly-hatched desires will cause you to start seeing your life more and more as an adventure rather than a chore. In time, you'll actually start to seek out new experiences because you'll know that, no matter what happens to you, your life is always under your control...and you'll start feeling invincible. It's a bit of a paradox, I know, but in acknowledging you'll never get everything you want and in enjoying your in-completeness, you'll actually be experiencing the greatest feelings of completeness that it is possible for anyone to experience. answered 18 May '10, 17:23 Stingray You know, Stingray...I don't have many Focus Blocks. About 5 more or less. I've just made them for the things I judged really really mattered in my life. I haven't managed to make one for "little" things as you pointed out on your explanations of the Focus Blocks. The same with the box. More or less 5 wishes there. (One repeated). Do you think sth. is preventing me from wishing too much??? I will sure make a Focus Block to get rid of my dubts though. :) Thanks for your reply! :)

@BridgetJones09...well, look at it this way. If some eccentric billionaire came up to you and said they would buy you anything you want in life and all you had to do was ask, then would you only ask for 5 things? There's no right or wrong answer here but if your answer to that question is different to the number of things you are asking for using these vibrational processes then it would be worth your time to consider why that is.

Hhhmmm...You gave me something to think about...Why don't I have many wishes??? Might I be afraid of not getting what I want and feel too disappointed? (Disappointment 'destroys' me). Or is it something else that I cannot bring to mind? Should I speak with a shrink about it? :)

Maybe it is a fear of being disappointed - only you would know for sure. Or you can look at it another way...the more you ask for (even if you don't get most of it), the more you will receive compared to if you didn't ask for it in the first place

@Stingray- loved the answer, but got a bit fearful reading the last paragraph, "you'll never get everything you want..." could you please clarify this for me? I'm sure if you read between the lines with me you can understand why this piece frightens me so much.

No need to be frightened. Physical reality will continue to make you launch new desires - you can achieve everything you want, but you can never "get it done" (although many would say reaching enlightenment would "get it done"), you will always focus on the next expansion.

@Bridget Jones/Stingray, I find that i have this same probelm. I seldom wish for anything. I can't seem to get the great attachment to focus wheels and my manifesting box has about 5 items too.

I know this question was asked a long time ago but it's important for me to say this, from personal experience - when you are in a low state, you will probably doubt. I have enough evidence of the vortex and LOA in my life to fill a book. And still if I'm offering a low vibration, I can have thoughts like "maybe this is all an illusion and coincidences" or "maybe Abraham's just tricking us" and all that. It's perfectly natural, as long as you understand that, as I once said, you are stupid (and self destructive) when outside of the vortex. I many times refuse to make decisions and contemplate when not in alignment, because I know that I will only make it worse. The idea is to know the importance of feeling good, and whenever having really "convincing" negative thoughts, be open to re-think it only after you are in the vortex again. answered 01 Mar '12, 02:44 Benjamin 3
Great reply. I'm the same, I have manifested so much, and received so much proof that this stuff actually works, but I still find myself in doubt sometimes. "You are stupid when you are not in the Vortex" is the most profound thing I have ever read on IQ, it's so simple and yet so true!

They happen because questioning and doubt are what we do. It is part of our nature to question things, to examine reality. But ultimately, success in life is about confidence, not confusion. I am reminded of a certain nuclear submarine commander's admonishment to his XO:
You can use one of the vibrational enhancement techniques like meditation, the Focus Wheel or Focus Blocks to bring your attention back to a good-feeling place. answered 18 May '10, 17:35 Vesuvius Thank you, Vesuvius! Nice story :)
