This is not the most spiritual question but i thought that maybe you can give me some unusual and interesting ideas so i can nurture my laziness:).

I go to the gym 3 times a week and spend about 7-8h/week there. Perhaps there are easier ways to achieve the same results (maybe with different belief systems)?

Looking for the fastest and the most effective exercises, says you don't really love exercising itself. There are many ways to achieve a lot of various results - strength, size, endurance... But what good is the path if you dread to walk it.

In other words, the fastest and the most effective way is to love exercising itself.

Yes, all things are easier if you love them. That's simple logic. But if you are human you don't love all things in the world. For me i don't love exercise. But i love having a healthy and muscular body. So i am just looking for ideas. Why not take them if they make me happy and loving?

Hehe, well yes. I used to think along the same lines long time ago. But it won't last...unless the healthy and muscular body is just a side effect of doing what you love.

Though I guess, one has to learn it firsthand to understand. As for now, go after your desires :)

I am just getting ready to tell people about the 7 Minute Workout. Go here and watch the video at the top to learn how it works. With this system, less is Definitely more. Pretty Amazing! http://www.7minuteworkout.com/onedollar

@Rindor Thank you.

@Releaser99 - Going to the gym constantly can get very monotonous in my experience. Have you tried mixing it up with an outdoor activity like mountain climbing for instance ? I find it great. I think it's a the mix of fresh air, great scenery and the exercise that makes it very therapeutic:)

Probably the two most useful time-saving belief systems I've come across over the years are:

  • Static Contraction Training - for muscle development and size, mentioned in the comments to this question and it was a Tony Robbins' favorite (might still be, I don't know) so he might have some information on it also somewhere
  • High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) - for cardio-type stuff. I tend to use Kettlebells for this in conjunction with Skogg System, though I don't do it more than twice a week. If you understand the SCT principles, you'll see why less is better.

An information source I've found worth looking at to stretch belief systems regarding physical body changes is Tim Ferriss' Four Hour Body. A lot of the information is in his blog

@Stingray I read Tim Ferris' book a few month ago but forgot about the exercises in it. Thanks for reminding. Static Contraction Training and HIIT sound also very interesting. But what's even more interesting is: why do you have an answer to everything? Is there nothing you don't do? :) I guess if i asked a question about ballet steps you would have this figured out already :)

@releaser99 - Most of the time it's just luck and fate that there are questions on IQ that I can actually answer. The rest of the time, it's just fate and luck :)

(05 Jan '13, 14:46) Stingray

@Stingray- Curious to know, what sort of body do you have? Eg: are you big, bulky and muscular, or are you much more lean but strong like Bruce Lee? I also know that, in conjuction with exercising and belief systems, the diet is even more important than the exercising. Question; (and I have been wanting to know this for a very, very long time), could you give as a sample of your diet? Or rather, do you intake alot of protein or not so much protein? The reason I ask...

(08 Jan '13, 02:29) Nikulas

@Stingray...Is because Bashar explained that, following his tips for achieving perfect health, he is implying that eating raw, organic foods, one will actually be capable of eating far less and being more energetic. He also stated that human only require very little protein, and this is a large contradiction to almost every nutritional website where many promote eating plenty of protein to gain muscle size. Obviously I am not trying to make a statement for every single fitness guru...

(08 Jan '13, 02:32) Nikulas

@Stingray- In another Bashar Q and A session, a lady was questioning her own great health an account that she only needed to eat one meal per day, and he explained that on the shift to 4-D reality, the consumption of food will be only as a means to energise: the "live to eat" catchphrase will be truely become "eating to live".

Likewise, Abraham doesnt seem to care what you consume as long as you are in the Vortex. May you please get back to me on this one? Thankyou and Happy New Year mr lucky

(08 Jan '13, 02:36) Nikulas

@Nikulas Do you have a link to the video in which bashar says you don't need a lot of protein? Tim Ferriss linked to this video some time ago on facebook https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVK8wUVxg-s. I find it quite funny because they talk about why people in prison are muscular without eating much protein. They claim that it's a matter of genetics, but i think it has to do with our belief system.

(08 Jan '13, 02:53) releaser99

@releaser99- Yes, the video is Bashar: Achieving perfect health. You've probably seen it before but if not,

@Nikulas - "what sort of body do you have? " - I'm probably similar to Michael Skogg...but with hair :) My diet is whatever I feel inspired to eat (probably too many burgers and fries recently). I tend to eat small meals roughly every 3 hours a day and use whey protein after workouts and some on porridge for breakfast...porridge is because it's quick and easy in the mornings :) Lots of water, occasionally watercress if I overdo it physically, and the MSM/Vitamin C mix at least once a day.

(10 Jan '13, 04:39) Stingray

@Nikulas - While this kind of personal information might be interesting to you, I don't think it's going to be of much use because I'm a product of my beliefs (many are convenient beliefs) just like everyone else and you don't have access to those. It's like Abraham says, get aligned and then do whatever you feel inspired to do from that place of alignment, whether that means what food to eat or what physical behaviors you think you need to do to be how you want

(10 Jan '13, 04:44) Stingray

@Stingray- Thanks for the share; I was scared of the impression that you were on a diet of 100% raw foods, no red meat, only whole meal grains, other crazy "extreme" lengths like such.
