Ok, my question is weird, because over the years, I've read everyone and every LOA teacher saying "Do not tell the universe what to do" Well, back in 1990, long before the internet was available at where I am, and I don't know or heard of Wallace D. Wattles or Charles F. Haanel and Neville Goddard, the Secret was never even heard of. And the mindset of everyone I met and know is that "Hard work = end results" I actually told the universe that I wanted to win in a 4 digits lottery, and I gave the exact numbers that I wanted the first prize to be. And then it happened. Could that have been a fluke? I was never able to repeat it over the last 20 years of my attempts. And as this happened 27 years ago, I am not able to recall what exactly did I do to make it happen. I am now trying to experiment with whatever I can remember and is trying to do memory recall exercises to see what was done at that time. And looking at posts by a wonderful member, Stingray, I can say that yes, my belief was so strong that even when a friend told me that my chosen numbers will not win, I actually challenged him on it. What do you think? asked 07 Sep '17, 01:15 Triple3 |
No, never. There's no such thing as a "fluke", no such thing as a "near miss", no such thing as an "accident", no such thing as "I was lucky/unlucky". Either the Universe is completely ordered or it is completely unordered - there can be no middle ground.
Having said that, there is such a thing as "lack of awareness" of how the Laws work. For example, if I throw a rock up into the air and it lands in a puddle next to me and makes a nice-sounding splash, I might then think that throwing rocks up into the air always results in a pleasant experience. But if I throw a rock up into the air and it lands on my head and I end up in hospital, I have probably gained a "greater awareness" of how the Law of Gravity interacts with rocks and people :) Those that claim that "random" things happen to them are generally those that haven't yet learned to get out of the way of falling rocks. The Law of Gravity continues to work just fine regardless of whether or not they have a rock-shaped hole in their head :) Now that then brings us to your lottery win. If the Universe is ordered and you were able to create the conditions to manifest a win the first time, what has changed that prevents you being able to manifest another win? From my observations and experiences, it is usually because the previous "win" in itself has now created "resistance" to it happening again. It's because the previous "win" became a Big Deal. And something you think of as being a rare or unusual occurrence has trouble manifesting again....because you've now consciously created it to be a rare or unusual occurrence :) It's the reason I don't make a Big Deal (or rarely even tell anyone) about the manifestations that happen in my own life. When you've got nothing to prove (and nothing to lose), it's so much easier to have that light, free and easy mindset that draws physical manifestations to you, seemingly effortlessly. Here's Abraham with some further thoughts on that "winning" mindset... answered 07 Sep '17, 03:26 Stingray Thank you Stingray for your reply. It was really a lack of awareness as you mentioned. I was 17 at that time, and the decision to buy the number was like out of the blue. But thanks again for sharing your time on this. And I really enjoyed reading your posts and replies in the discussions. Cheers!!
