I came to this site when I was looking out there for answers. The New Age section (far from the eastern philosophy section and even further from philosophy in general where I am usually at) in the local bookstore caught my attention. I picked up an Abraham book and it caught my attention. Hey I feel good, maybe I can get things by feeling good. Out of nowhere I created a sense of lack when I had been feeling fulfilled for a while. I went off course from my normal teachings and went down the LOA road. Then I found IQ "Spirituality, Mind Control and LOA". That is what the site claims. But it is really about how can I fix me by getting more by feeling good. I bought into it, kept buying books, heard the stories and soon realized that I was now worse off than I was before hitting the new age section. All these ways to get more by reading more. Michael just feel good and everything will be blissful and work out for you. Then the internal battle began, I like all the people here really I do, but I wanted to grow spiritually not financially. I want more responsibility in learning how I work, not just a quick fix short cut to a higher consciousness. People are being tricked into thinking all you need to do is "Feel Good". It is not that easy. How well do people really know themselves? Because things, cars, jobs and money do not fix ANYTHING PERIOD. I do not care how abundant you THINK this world is but the cold hard facts are that inflation is going up more people (good "feel good" people) are unemployed and there is not enough money being spread around. All of your good intentions will not make the PTB change there greedy ways. Many have witnessed this struggle of mine and I am finally ready to let go. I figured out what was bothering me (I really knew the whole time) that NOTHING out there will bring me any happiness until I am at peace with myself. And when I am at peace with my self THEN I WILL WANT NOTHING. If you were at peace, why would you want material things to fill a void? Now listen again. I did not say want material things at all, but things that you desire to make you happy (er). The real work is discovering yourself not cute catchphrases and quirky lines like limiting beliefs. Limiting me from what? I'm fine. Beliefs just create more separateness.
Goodbye! I got to get back to work :) And oh, please if I had any request while I am still alive it is for the love of all that is good... DO NOT POST ANY ANSWERS BELOW EVER!! I will never read them, I will never be back. (so I guess since I won't be back, I'll never know right?) Thats not the point...just let it be. Please only you will know if anyone in your group here decides to not honor my request to not respond. Do you think you all can do that? Seriously. Good luck. asked 18 Apr '11, 07:10 you Barry Allen ♦♦

Separateness appears to be at the crux of your issue, as far I can see. And, yes, I absolutely agree with you regarding that sentence. Beliefs create more separateness because... that's what beliefs were intended to do :) We already know at the level of our multi-dimensional selves that everything is interconnected. That's not something we have to learn or discover - we already know...it's boring, it's old news, it's just sooooooo sixth density:) But the illusion of separateness is what this physical reality is all about. It's that separateness that gives us the reason to project ourselves physically here and experience this perspective. Our inner selves crave experience - we would anytime gladly trade "bad" experiences for no experience at all - and experiencing something really unique like the illusion of separateness is something that we all jumped at. So I wouldn't be so quick to condemn the illusionary nature of this reality because, at some level, you wanted to be here too :)

No sorry, this is a question and answer forum. I didnt set this thing up Simon did. Im assuming Mr Templeton didnt set this forum up to make over dramatic, childish petulant statements. If you did Simon then im very sorry for mis understanding the purpose and format of your web site. The cold hard facts about the money being not spread out is a little unaccurate.Sure there are poor people on this earth, there are also rich people on this earth. But there are plenty of people in my experience who are becoming richer, happier and more at peace with themselves,God and their environment. There are many examples of people who have got into a good feeling place and have reaped the benefits. Whatever the PTB is you seem to have a lot more faith in that than you have in God and His laws. Your question ,or rather statement proves this. However we dress this up,wheather your an evangelical christian,a so called new ager or any other system it all comes down,in the end to belief and faith. Old fashioned words i know, but ive even heard the weird and wonderful Esther Hicks say that in the end youve just got to have a little faith and belief, despite contrary physical circumstances. In her words youve got to change your story. I hope that you will find peace Long Gone,it seems that youve decided nothing will go right for you until you find this. You may find that this is perfectly true. As the worlds formost authority on manifesting the Fathers power said. "according to your faith,so be it unto you" Enough said. Monty

Such a sad and empty commentary! I am totally dismayed by this post, and I wish that it could be removed. But at least we all know that in seeking, we find; in asking, we get answers, and in knocking, the door shall be opened. Don't let Long Gone disturb you too much. I guess we all know that the LOA does work! Let us pray for this person, despite his desires, and hope that s/he finds happiness out there... All my Blessings and Love, Jai

We attract what we "sow". I cannot remember now what I exactly meant in this context, but I think I meant that "long gone" was, at that time, "unattracted" to us. Jai

micheal you really want to see the truth go in yourself until you go out of yourself in the golden light! if you say i can't do that i don't have the time well find the time! take 1 month off and go in the desert or on the top of mountain where there is no body around and fix a wall for as long as it will take! focus and remove the veils of the mind! then go on until you leave the body!
