me in my words the veil of the mind is being stuck in concept and belief that stop you from attaining the perfect picture! one needs to be able to experiance the truth in all the possible way with out being stuck! if one meditate at a certain level he will see all what is in turmoil in the brain though linked to emotion unset and unresolve one need to understand the meaning to put it to rest! then he can experiance the truth! this is also called a open mind!or thinking out of the box! so i have gave my answer you can give your! little quote:there is no worse blind then someone that does not want to see! |

The veil of the soul is the Ego, as for the veil of the mind, i suppose it would be the streangth of our faulty belief systems. The ones that truly do not resinate with our higher self. I always say that we cant realy have faulty beliefs because if they work for us they are right . BUT the soul does not always accept what our aware connsiesness or even the ego might. love n light, rob yes rob one most shed off all of those (veil of the mind and ego) and be pure of hearth to get to god!

I agree rob, the mask of one's ego-self conceals who we really are. Considering that we're not really separate from god, our soul or our higher self, surely our mind and the mind of god are one and the same; thus nothing can really conceal or veil our mind, so anything that does is self-imposed for a reason.

I think the veil of the mind is a reference to the idea that the reality we perceive is in fact an interpretation arrived at through the mind. The mind acts as the ultimate authority upon the "nature" of what is happening to us. With the mind we "program" our anticipation of what is going to happen to us next in the form of our excitement and our fears. And then, when what we fear does come to pass, we reinforce our anticipation as truth about ourselves, all the time using the mind mechanism as the instigator and the interpreter of our reality. And yet the mind mechanism seems to be something that is actually independent from our deeper self which is capable of intent without a single motion of thought. So what is this mind then, but a veil of illusion? yes the mind as a veil where every thing not settle is floating there in your perception is trying to see through that veil!just like your pc screen when you create something on it you see it!so how can you see the true image if you flood the screen with false creation? one needs to remove that veil!

The veil of the mind: is my plan of action to get to where I want to be in my life, and this could mean a personal relationship with God to seek out his truth to the mysteries in life, and what I can accomplished in learning to discipline myself through meditation to get closer to him and to listen to his teaching and truth and to apply in my life! well vee keep that devotion and meditate and lift the veil of ignorance!
