People say "put your trust in God" .... but if you are a deliberate creator (Abraham-Hicks)... and created in the image of Source ... experiencing life as a (human) being in a physical manifestation "reality"...then why would you do this this? To me....putting your trust in God seems almost in conflict with the idea of "Deliberate Creator". As if there is a separate outside entity...separate (disconnected) from yourself ...who is all powerful and will grant your wishes...

I equate Trust in God and the Art of Allowing (Abraham's terminology) as one and the same thing... they are the letting go part of the Deliberate Creation Process.

I see Trust in God and Trust in Self (authentic self, soul self, higher self) also as one and the same so from that perspective there is no conflict.

Love your answer. Your response is the same perspective that awakened within me when I read the question. It's nice to know that we were in sync.

Michaela, you are wonderful.

I haven't been to the site in a long time. Things got so crappy I couldn't even think. Time to reinforce Trust in God.

Thanks

Why do you think that putting your trust in God will be in conflict with the Deliberate Creator, and what do you perceive the Deliberate Creator to be? And do you think that your higher self will be in conflict with you manifesting your desire from the one universal mind?

Not really,if we assume that were one with God,or as Esther puts it an extension of source energy then there isnt a conflict.

In the bible Paul says that there is a power that works "in us"

Trusting God means trusting the God "in you" Many people (including me ) have somehow managed to externalise God and think of Him as being something very much outside of themselves.

When you look in the mirror and see Christ looking back at you then there is no problem believing that your very much in charge of your destiny and ability to create, because the creative power and personality is one with you.

In a way you put your trust in the God in you. Because you cant really believe in a God outside of yourself, because there isnt a God outside of you,or anyone.
