The other day, I was lying in bed, resting as best as I could. Wade was working on IQ. Suddenly, he turned to me, and said, "A song just popped into my head!" The song was, "Just Remember I Love You, and it'll be alright." We went to UTube and Googled the song. It is an old song by Firefall, and the lyrics were utterly perfect for our situation at the time. I believe the message came from my Dad, who passed on five years ago. The synchronicity was perfect- and we watched Fireproof that night, and were further moved. This let us know that our path we are on is the right one. Has anything like this happened to you just when you needed it? Blessings, Jai asked 08 Aug '11, 18:27 Jaianniah |

@Jai: it was! When people say that they have §h!t jobs I tell them what a §h!t job really is ;) The farm I worked on had 10 pigs in each box and 400 pigs in each hall.

@ursixx love, love the story. Have to laugh at the image of a city slicker & pig farming. I had a college classmate who was from the big city, married a pig farmer & was in hog heaven from then on. Just cracking up over the image. In the US, we have regulations against the stink - pretty much outlawed.

It would be the prophetic dream I had about my Dad dying just a couple of weeks before he did. I believe I wrote about the experience someplace here on IQ. I seldom have important or memorable dreams, but that one, as unpleasant as it was, really helped me to prepare mentally and emotionally for his death. At the time I had the dream he had just gotten back from a trip to Europe and had been skiing, weightlifting, hiking as usual. Although he was in his 70's he was still extremely fit for his age. We all thought that we had many more years with him and never imagined what was ahead: a very aggressive form of cancer that took him in just a couple of weeks. Because of the dream I realized we would not have him forever. I began saving his e-mails, his greeting cards, and treasuring every moment, as indeed I should have even sooner. I am so appreciative of that dream. answered 08 Aug '11, 20:12 LeeAnn 1 We have something more in common, LeeAnn- the loss of our fathers when they were still "young"-at least, to us. I am so sorry, but I <am> glad for the dream you had. In its way, it helped you. Thanks also for answering the question with such a great story! My usual blessings,>>>>>>>>>>>>

It did help me a lot. I often think if I had not experienced the dream I would have just kept thinking he would be around forever and not appreciated our last weeks. It's so easy to take our loved ones for granted, and so hard to think of their mortality. Loved your question and blessings to you too!
