Like you wish for someone that always arrives late to arrive 30 minutes before the next day and it happens. asked 30 Aug '11, 02:07 white tiger ursixx |
Yes, I call it living consciously :) About a week ago, I met a casual friend in my neighborhood and he asked me if I was interested in buying his coffee machine for US$530. I’d wanted one exactly like it for a while, but considering that I drink one cup of good coffee per day on average, that price seemed a bit high, value wise, for me to invest. I expressed a casual interest and told my friend that I'd get back to him by the end of August. After returning home I thought about the coffee machine and how much I would be willing to pay for it. I knew that the new cost of these machines is about US$1,300 because I’d seen them in the store. I knew that his machine was approx. one year old. I decided that I’d be willing to pay between US$400 and US$465, but no more. Then I decided that I’d call him at the end of the month to offer him US$400 and then I put it out of my mind and completely forgot about the whole incident. Two days ago on 28 August my friend sent a text message offering to sell the coffee machine to me for US$432. I smiled as I read the text message as I knew I would be the proud owner of a high quality coffee machine. I knew that his offer was not only fair, but it also fell exactly half way between the minimum and maximum price that I’d decided I’d be willing to pay for it. He delivered the coffee machine to me on the same day and I just handed over the money. There was no haggling, bitching or complaining as we both knew that this was a fair deal for both of us. Many people call this the law of attraction, the power of imagination or conscious deliberate reality creation, etcetera. It doesn’t really matter what you call it as long as the basic elements are in place. The basic elements were:
That’s all I did and that’s all I always do. All good things naturally flow to us when we’re clear and we stay positive. Enjoy the coffee, Eddie :) BTW, if it's the island I'm thinking of (Samui), I've probably driven past your home a few times over the past decade :)

Your answer gave me the vibrations of you as a person offering the world with the attitudes of calm and confident expectation, effortless, poised, collected, and what have you. Liked the answer Eddie. "You need not do anything. Remain sitting at your table and listen. You need not even listen, just wait. You need not even wait, just learn to be quiet, still and solitary. And the world will freely offer itself to you unmasked. It has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet." ~ Franz Kafka ~
