I need some clarification on this paragraph from The Master Key System, Part 8 - can anyone help???

21.. People say that they desire abundant life, and so they do, but so many interpret this to mean that if they will exercise their muscles or breathe scientifically, eat certain foods in certain ways, drink so many glasses of water every day of just a certain temperature, keep out of drafts, they will attain the abundant life they seek.

The result of such methods is but indifferent. However, when man awakens to the truth, and affirms his oneness with all Life, he finds that he takes on the clear eye, the elastic step, the vigor of youth; he finds that he has discovered the source of all power.

I intepret this as saying that it's only when we realize the interconnectedness of everything and everyone that we begin to see things with clarity and recognize the true source of abundance that is available to everyone. In other words true abundance is not discovered in the mere details of carrying out certain physical activities because it is a state that resides within and is thus a manifestation of the spiritual realm.

An abundant life goal is being compared by two different perceptions. One physical, the other spiritually. Choosing the spiritual path will give clarity to the realization that you are already abundant potentially. No need for special circumstances to get you there. Just apply action in the right direction, and you will see results.

The paragraph is basically alluding to the idea that some go about trying to achieve an 'abundant life' by trying to mechanically carry out steps and processes in the hope that it will all add up to give a 'whole' and abundant life-- rather than directly approaching the source of all abundance, that being an awakening to the oneness of all Life (or spiritual connectedness). The author is exhorting people to first awaken spiritually to unity, wholeness, Life, oneness with all creation, and what some would call "God", rather than attempting to bring this about by force through supposed actions or processes they may have found or heard about which lead to certain partial results.

The good physical things you do for your body will improve the body but nothing else.

You have to realise that your mind and Gods mind are one. Of course everyone elses mind and Gods mind is also one mind and therefore we are all interconected. When you realise this than you realise the extent of your true power.

To have an ubundant life depends on how you use your mind. Consciously and willfuly construct the thoughts you think to impress your subconscious and you will have the life you think about.

plane of reality and truth. vs desire in the physical. i will make example: someone is in a wheel chair he desire to walk and do all what other people are doing. he could have some belief that if he does this or that he will walk again. if it does not happen he will feel bad. but if that person meditate and go to god the plane of reality and truth and God show him that he made the choice to experience this life and that he can make the choice to leave this life and stay with God or to reincarnate then the person will know the truth no more desire and delusion he as free will and can use it as he wants and the fact that it was is choice from the beguinning to experience this life he will now use it as best he can. so experience and enjoy.

This again relates to cause and effect. Here he is talking about being ritualistic. By getting up from a definite side, by doing so many sit ups in a day etc we are performing only rituals. These rituals are external. They do not change the external facts. It is like we are trying to remove an unwanted object that is projected by a projector or trying to pick the bundle of notes from the mirror image. The external things we see are only effects and by changing the effect we can't change the reality. By understanding that we are one mind and this one Universal mind is the True Source of all the things coming into being we come to know where exactly to go for spotting a way to bring an abundant and opulent life. Being this one mind, we have the infinite resources at our disposal as per our will. Hope that helps.
