I had been thinking of our future and it dawned on me that there are two very different views of our future.

One is some kind of Utopian world where we are advanced spiritually into some higher dimension, nothing material matters because we outgrow the need for such things other than just being.

On the other hand we advance technically, conquer death and aging, build a moon base, and space ships to fly to other planets and populate the universe.

There are two very different views here: one has no need for space travel and adventure; and the other is very much like Lewis and Clark, boldly going out exploring and finding new lands and taking them and making life on those lands.

it is possible that with spiritual development
one will be in command of nature and all her material forms,
traveling out to other worlds consciously while awake
instead of unconsciously with your astral body while in sound sleep;
also other worlds may already be populated
as Lewis & Clark found out in their journeys.

For me Wade the answer is clear, there is never competition between spirituality and technology as suggested in the question, the two go hand in hand...though prime advances in technology are always preceded by spiritual enlightenment, one cannot advance in harmony without the other closely following.

I saw this as a battle between two conflicting viewpoints but this is an interesting perspective you have put on this. I'll ponder this point, thanks White Tiger. :-)

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.Philippians 2:2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.1 Peter 3:8 Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble.

I like the best of both existances. The spiritual as well as the physical and yes I love new technology even though I can't allways for the life of me figure out how it all works.

We are the + (positive) spiritual beings encloathed in the -(negative) Physical body and are therefore in equilibrium. I hate the thought of loosing eather but being human we will loose the matter and inherit a spiritual world. We simply have no choice.

On the other hand if reincarnaqtion exists than we are lucky for we can have our cake and eat it too. We can have a bit of both at alternate intervals and that realy seems ideal.

Unfortunately no one knows how long this beautiful home of ours, Earth, will last but that it wont be forever (much to my sorrow) is evident even now. We were prommised a new heaven and a new earth so lets hope that technology will thrive there as well and we can carry on being pioneers in creation.

To answer your question I personaly want both to win for there is no greater gift to spirit than to be clothed in a body of matter and experiance creation.

Some are attracted to spirituality to raise ones vibration. Some are attracted to technology. Both can be used as a tool to advance. The end result will be that spirituality is closer to the higher vibrational natural law. Technology is of the physical world and can be used as a gateway to spirituality.
