Hi Jai, yes prayers casn be answered and some are answered quicker than others and some not at all but the power of prayer is amazing if one only gives prayer a true chance to work in their lives.

In my personal experiance I've had many prayers answered but than I don't pray the run of the mill oratory prayer with the lips only but use intent, vision, emotion and feelings. Afterwards I release the prayer into Gods hands and know and expect my prayers to be answered. I also listen and look so as not to miss the answer when it comes through my consciousnes.

All prayers are allways answered and all we have to do is listen and look to see what God is showing us or telling us. Maybe you get your answer through a song you hear on the radio or through someone you talk to or something you see. It is up to each person to learn how to listen and how to look so that they can hear and see what they need to. After all Gods language is symbolic and it is our intuition that God uses to communicate the answers to our prayers. The answer is allways there so open your heart and mind and listen to your intuition.

I found a great way to pray in Gregg Bradens book "THE ISAIAH EFFECT" decoding the lost science of prayer and prophecy. I would sugest that all who pray read this for it is truly worth it especially the chapter titled "The Language Of God".

well i pray but not like people in church reciting verse from the bible by heart and thinking that the more you recite it the more it will happen. i simply talk with the father and look at what he is showing me. so sometime i know why it is like this and cannot change for now and some other time when he can do it he does it. and know this everything happens when it is the time for it to happen. example: i could pray for rain or sunshine etc. because it is needed for some people with reason some time it happens other time it does not for x reason(some other people needs might be more urgent or the people that needs it as something to learn from that experience).

also look at when jesus stopped the storm for is disciple it was to teach them something.he did not always stop the storm just to boost is ego and make a show of him self. so you see the father know all the reason and is the best judge to make it happen or not happen or when.so experience and enjoy.
