In order to be more effective in the physical world, you have to cultivate your spiritual aspect, through meditation and other techniques. This means being temporarily isolated from the physical world.

But once you have renewed that spiritual connection, you become more effective in your everyday life. Being more effective means being more engaged with the world, and therefore less isolated.

Let's say you are the manager of a group of people, or the owner of a company. Your most important asset in that capacity is being able to deal with people effectively. The way you do that is to understand who you are, and to be connected to your Source. By doing so, you become more attractive to your people in a spiritual way (more charismatic, but in a genuine way), and more influential as a leader.

As a more influential leader, with the wisdom of Source at your disposal, you are far more engaged in a meaningful way than if you are not so spiritually inclined.
