I have been studying Nicola Tesla, possibly the greatest genius of the 20th century. He held over 700 patents, including alternating current, the induction motor, neon lighting, fluorescent lighting, x-rays, radio, remote control and lasers. Many of his patents were the basis of further inventions. Yet he said that he was not an inventor, but a discoverer. He got an image in his mind, worked out all the details in his mind, built it and it worked. "Ere many generations pass, our machinery will be driven by a power obtainable at any point of the universe. Throughout space there is energy." -- Nikola Tesla, 1892 Though I mentioned Tesla, there were many others considered geniuses, Albert Einstein, Steven Hawking, Warren Buffet, Howard Hughes, and others. What made them great? Where did their ideas come from? How can we better go there also? asked 28 Sep '12, 09:34 Dollar Bill

We are all genius, and at the same time, not genius at all. On one hand we are all genius because each and every one of us has the potential to tap into the all penetrating and permeating divine source of the infinite consciousness. On the other hand, the label of genius has a slight connotation because it could mean that certain people have special gifts, while all the other people don't have the ability to tap into the same energy. So in my personal preference, and from what I have learned over the last few years, I don't prefer to use the word "genius." Since we all have the ability to tap into this universal juice of creating, we are all on the same exact level. We are a one co-creative genius fragmented into different viewpoints and perspectives for a unique experience. I would prefer to call men like Nikola Tesla and the others you mentioned - "Masters of Allowing." By allowing the ether of the universe to flow through them effortlessly, they were able to conjure up any and every single thing that excited them in their reality of existence. I think a lot of people would like to call our own IQ friend @Stingray a genius, but I have a strong inclining to believe that he wouldn't accept that honor and find a way to reflect our own universal genius back to us. Similar to Tesla'a quote above about his brain only being a receiver.
If we look at that first quote you posted from Telsa, it explains the whole concept of being (universally) genius in a nutshell. All we have to do is believe 100% that the universe provides anything that we can desire, and all we have to do is allow ourselves to be the recieiver of the information without specific expectation or contradicting thoughts. We don't need to do anything extra like try to figure out how all of it works. We just need to realize and know the all emcompassing power and light that we are. None of us are more special than the next person. We are all on an equal playing field with the illusion of seperation from each other and seperation from the Masters of Allowing that we truly are. I mentioned the Abraham concept of Asking, Allowing, and Receiving many times here because that is the most simple way to express where ideas come from and how we can manifest them into our reality. It could be as simple as asking a specific question about creating something new that has never been seen before on this Earth, sitting quietly with a still and calm mind, and listening for the answer to come to you. I have been starting to do this more recently and it is very exciting what things we may eventually see or hear. All we have to do is open up and relax and become more of a discoverer like Mr.Telsa and all the other master (genius) allowers that changed perspective on what is and isn't possible. answered 28 Sep '12, 15:10 Cory 1

I also believe that everyone has the ability to tap into Source. Perhaps we could say that our Source is a perfect genius. Perfect! And our physical self is like an imperfect secretary to that genius. Relax land allow and find the Truth.

@Cory - "I think a lot of people would like to call our own IQ friend @Stingray a genius, but I have a strong inclining to believe that he wouldn't accept that honor" - Yes, your inclination is quite right, Cory :) There's nothing that I do that anyone else couldn't do just as well...and probably eventually much better than me :) I think when we put others on pedestals and proclaim them as superior, we do ourselves a disservice. Genius, to me, is simply focused interest - LOA does the rest

@Stingray Well said. You were the perfect "co-creator" for the point I was trying to make in my answer.

@Stingray "focused interest" yes i go along with that, i would break that down into four parts; it's like playing the game of being the conceptor, the constructor, the observer and the player of the whole scene, all in one :)

@Cory This has got to be one of your best answers ever. It's all about allowing & receiving & co creating. Being Masters of Asking is the easy part & the key is becoming Masters of Allowing & Masters of Receiving - love it! To succeed in truly allowing & receiving, I think we need to accepting our greatness; we are all Gods! Thanks!

I strongly believe it is whole brain thinking. The integration of the right and left hemisphere is paramount to bringing abstract into solidity. This is where things breakdown between to two hemispheres of the brain. We could think of it as bringing ideas into existence, (the transfer from right brain to left brain.) We get the right brain inspiration then need to take it to the left brain to reason out how to make it possible. This is a part of what the Society Of Secrets is about, learning to do this very way of thinking "Neo-Thinking." Not only can the left brain interpret the right brain, it can command it, but that is a whole other level. answered 14 Mar '13, 10:33 Wade Casaldi 1
Have you tried integrating your left/right brain? I'm creative but mostly left-brained. I'd like to hear more about developing balanced thinking.

@Damien verily verily do not be surprise at my saying this answer for a balenced thinking is found in the bible in the gnostic of thomas in the toa in meditation. For someone that have eyes to see and ear that hear.Jesus said, "I will give you what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, what no hand has touched, what has not arisen in the human heart."The disciples said to Jesus, "Tell us, how will our end come?"

Jesus said to them, "When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male will not be male nor the female be female, when you make eyes in place of an eye, a hand in place of a hand, a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, then you will enter [the kingdom]."

@Damien yes I do a lot of times. It is not a natural state for me to be in at all time but I can when needed. For example when I play guitar impromptu, I just play entire songs never before played. When I work in my karate, I see answers rather than think answers. The results are way faster than deductive reasoning. We will continue to evolve into God - men and women where this is the normal state to solving all problems. We will just know the answer as much as we know the question.

As children we all have lots of ideas everyday, some of them are new and genial and we all have special talents too.For most those ideas and talents become smothered by the harsh realities of everyday life. Those that continue to let their true colors shine through, from childhood to adulthood, accompanied by feelings of love and devotion and a desire for perfection, tend to become what is often named genius. Many of these people don't really know why or how they succeed, or even that they have succeeded at all. Some of them live seemingly ordinary lives and are only recognized as producing exceptional works many years after they've passed away. It's a question of attitude and consciously communicating with the dream world, of perceiving and taking that world of imagination seriously, acting upon it so as to bring it into the physical realm. We're all connected with source, a genius does consciously what most people do unconsciously, that is, communicates with creative source here's a few tips how to become a DIY genius

Tesla also invented the AND gate and was the first to combine AND/OR/NOT gates to make digital computers. He may have been the most creative engineer who ever lived. I think genius depends more on creativity & enthusiasm than raw IQ. Many people with high IQs aren't successful because they either can't innovate or don't really care about their work. If you love what you do, your mind will unconsciously work on it all the time and you'll have great ideas while you're brushing your teeth. It makes a big difference. answered 14 Mar '13, 21:16 Damien Jesus said, "There was a rich person who had a great deal of money. He said, 'I shall invest my money so that I may sow, reap, plant, and fill my storehouses with produce, that I may lack nothing.' These were the things he was thinking in his heart, but that very night he died. Anyone here with two ears had better listen!" Jesus said, "If you bring forth what is within you, what you have will save you. If you do not have that within you, what you do not have within you [will] kill you."

On what do you base succes? or failure? Jesus said, "Why have you come out to the countryside? To see a reed shaken by the wind? And to see a person dressed in soft clothes, [like your] rulers and your powerful ones? They are dressed in soft clothes, and they cannot understand truth."

I stopped using the word genius when I found that place of knowing, Jesus called it heaven, physicists call it the unified field, philosophers call it universal intelligence, others call it akashic records, spirit in the sky, aether, ethereal compendium of knowledge, etc ... We are all innately connected to it because we are made of it. How to get there? First believe that knowledge exists outside of your brain/body, then experiment with it. Einstein imagined he was a photon and he asked himself what he, the photon was observing and how it was behaving. He then trusted what he learned enough to put the maths on paper. You, however might want to try a simpler method. It can also be used for personal development, is there something in your childhood or youth that you feel traumatic? Center your attention on it, relax, put yourself into a self-induced hypnotic state. Then go to the memory, relive that experience in your mind, your subconscious will believe anything that you tell it, that the experience is real and will fix the trauma. Help that young part of yourself out of that difficulty, and allow it to be healed, believe that the experience is real, this is done through mental imagery. Another way you can find it is to pay closer attention to reality, I've found that when I ask a question it's answered. I may see the answer on TV or hear it being spoken by an unknown passer-by, but I almost always get my answer or a way to find the answer the same day if I ask the question with sincere wonder in the morning, you feel that the answer is correct a bit like when a piece of a jigsaw puzzle nicely fits into place. Meditation will also bring you to that place of wisdom, but you have to be regular about it. Give your mind a specific task and it will go out and do it, it will find that missing piece of the jigsaw puzzle |
I think Genius comes from being deeply engaged and endlessly curious about something - inner nudges and pursuing only what interests you. After a certain point your subconscious will channel source energy and give you "flashes" and "images" in which your subconscious goes to work in finding the solutions to creating those situations or concepts in real life. At least that is what I have found from my own experience. Another definition of "genius" could also be one who is unfazed and unaffected by limiting beliefs that hold back and cloud the rest of society i.e. "growing up". What I think of when I think of a genius is someone who refused to be clouded by societal programming and instead retains a very childlike intense curiosity, a willingness to completely and unabashedly be themselves despite all the brainwashing that happens to most people around "who they should be" "what they should be doing" "what they should believe" etc. Geniuses retain their true purity and that allows them to manifest via their attunement to their desires and source energy, solutions and images which they can work out on the physical plane into concepts or objects or inventions, intellectual property, art, songs, science etc. It all comes from being attuned to your desires and being led via the physical into creating the outcomes that stun the rest of society. That's at least my thoughts around it. stun the rest of society |
If I tell you that everything is here for our own discovery from the simple things to the complex things that combine different element together and create new things we just need to be aware, experience, learn the truth, grow and enjoy. Let me tell you a little secret, when we are not aware, confused and fearful we do not understand something and reject it not knowing the truth about it, and if you reject it can you say that you love it? It remains strange and we continue to fear it, we fear what is alien and not understood. Fear is good to protect us in this world because we can get hurt if you can understand how you can get hurt you can understand and learn and find way not to get hurt. then the fear is no longer a problem because you know how to overcome it. Is it not fear that stopped peter to follow Jesus? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=997ni1xcmKw John 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, with a new name written on the stone that no one knows except the one who receives it.' "And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: 'The words of the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and whose feet are like burnished bronze. The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.' He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers will not be hurt by the second death.' Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. http://www.openbible.info/topics/overcomers This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. Let there be light, Be the light that you can be, experience and enjoy. answered 16 Apr '14, 16:38 white tiger jaz |
Your mind is a goal seeking organism and needs a target to reach and works most effectively when focused on that target. Mental imagery is an extremely powerful principle and puts your subconscious into action, use your body's autonomic nervous system to it's full potential and you'll achieve things that others feel impossible. About 16 bits of information flows through your consciousness every second ... 40 million bits of information flows through your subconscious every second, this is where what is commonly named a genius gets information. There is a method of training "virtual viewing" that enables you to progressively access those hidden inner parts of your subconscious that are normally inaccessible ... take a journey into the past, present or future at will. The following videos by Dr. Simeon Hein is a guide through the basic "virtual viewing" process and you can actively participate in the demonstration, the target is a photo that will be revealed at the end of the session ... have fun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5f_lJPvKtQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9zQeultkIU annex; This method is evidently based on self-hypnosis just as when dowsing with a pendulum ... the most important to start with is keeping an open mind and having a go without which you won't get very far. First relax, then center your attention completely because energy is generated each time the mind focuses on a single target or image of the target, this target can be represented by a symbol, a randomly generated number 1295436 for example. Whilst in this semi-dream state you can direct your concentration on visualizing the desired result. During self-hypnosis your conscience is suspended and your subconscious will accept as true any affirmations that are sent to it and will tend to immediately translate them into acts (process thought-word-deed). answered 16 Apr '14, 03:07 jaz |

@Dollar Bill Didn't see this first time round - great question.
Your desire automatically attracts the kind of information you require, though you may or may not be aware of it.
If you are gifted, and want to be a musician, for example, then you may literally learn while you are asleep, tuning in to the world views of other musicians, both alive and dead in your terms. When you are awake, you will receive inner hints, nudges or inspirations.
