When I was a kid, God told me that I was going to change the world, and that I would have a son who would change the world. I have always felt this 'calling' but never really knew what to. I have been studying and searching religion and healing etc... to figure out my calling. I have prayed and asked. I finally told my son and he said that he got the same 'calling'. I was talking to a friend and she mentioned that her son, around my age, said when he was a kid that he was going to change or save the world. So, apparently, I am not the only one called for this. Do you or someone you know have this 'calling?' How do I find the rest of my 'group' or more people with this 'calling'? thanks

When you learn about survival in nature ,one of the first things you learn is that when you are lost and separated from your group is that you stay in one place. If the group is looking for you you will be easier to find. This is the thought that crossed my mind when I read your Opening question. Do you mean every one gets that calling as a child?

@Fairy Princess - you are finding your group now, here. You are changing your world, now, here. Everything is proceeding exactly as you planned. The same as with all of us. I guess I should have asked if there is anyone else here who had that calling when they were a kid. :)

@Fairy Princess "Do you mean every one gets that calling as a child?" Sure, we do. We are all strangers in a strange land looking for our group. Then one day we realize that that group has been all around us all along. You can see it in their eyes. Well described by Kurt Vonnegut in "Cat's Cradle" as a Karass -- a group of people who, often unknowingly, are working together to do God's will. The people can be thought of as fingers in a Cat's Cradle. Are you talking about a calling to change the world, or a calling to find your group? Thanks

the group is scattered among the face of the earth it is all your brother and sister of light,do you see it?.Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are good, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are bad, your body also is full of darkness.there is light in a person of light and it shines on the whole world if not it is dark. so let there be light, Be the light that you can be, experience and enjoy.
@Fairy Princess just curious, but how did God tell you? Did you meet God in a dream or anywhere else ?
@kakaboo It was an understanding I had. Like a knowing. It meant a lot more when I found out others had it too.
