This question came to me from Stingrays questions here. I was once asked. Do you wish to live an enlightened existence and utilize the teachings of Treb? Or do u only honor your gift and try to use it as it is what u where given? This haunted my soul for some time. But for those of you who do not channel or teach, the question is more specific. When you have taken your knowledge you have learned from I.Q. or other various texts, books, and material, do you take in knowledge just for the sake of learning? Do you use it to the daily life struggles? Why do you all do this? For me, I wanted to help change lives, but there is many times i feel I am going through the steps. Do we utilize these gifts of knowledge we get from various sources for the sake of duty, or think it is what we should do? Or do we truly wish to make deep impacts for others? Living life as we would hope the information we store in our minds and hearts for the betterment of all? asked 03 Nov '12, 15:13 TReb Bor yit-NE Barry Allen ♦♦

If I am understanding this right, my answer would be that just having and interesting in learning might be an indication that you are on a path to healing or helping others. That's what I think if I apply this question to myself. My quest for understanding, learning and application of spiritual matters boils down for my personal desire to help others and to better understand the world around me. There are so many fantastic things that I've only just learned around or have known about for quite some time. In the end, that knowledge will help someone else somehow. The "great wall" that I must overcome to obtaining said knowledge and lend it's application to and for others in the future is ultimately myself; negativity: in thoughts, and impulses and other things like letting go of feelings such as anger, sadness and sometimes just plain old existential melancholy (hate hate this). I guess life is just one big choose your own adventure with the outcome being something you hope for. There are many paths and some may make you turn around or start over, but the desire to get there should remain one that is burning and that should lift you up over all to your true path. answered 04 Nov '12, 21:17 Halcyon it is not really letting go it is more learning the full truth about one extent to the opposite extent and how it relate to the rest(other objet that relate to that tough or emotion inside or outside).letting go and ignoring something or making it stop or making it go away, is only a temporary mesure it is still there, until you learn from it and solve it. spend over 40 days meditating and doing this and the water should be pure.the sign that it is pure the 2 becomes one.

Nah, I don't think I have a desire to become what we'd define as enlightened. I want to live my life, with my desires; I want to have an equal balancing act of summoning vs allowing of desires- and in all other respects, I just want to feel good emotionally most of my life. I don't really know, nor care (today) what my souls purpose is for deciding to come back to earth. If my soul were to say to me that I was meant to go on a deliberate mission to become enlightened, I'd tell it to go jump... answered 03 Nov '12, 18:31 Nikulas i liked it...hmm.. :))

since you are light from the beguinning i do not see why you should ask this question, onless that you are lost in the darkness and that your light became darkness. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness. http://bible.cc/luke/11-35.htm as for honouring your gifts, since your gifts are a part of you, honouring and respecting your self, the image made in the image of the creator is only normal.you have free will and are responsible of it inside the cup and outside of the cup.stay in truth and purify your water with the light of truth that you are and make your heart pure.So let there be light, Be the light that you can be, experience and enjoy. answered 03 Nov '12, 16:05 white tiger |
We are all on the path to enlightenment whether we are aware of that fact, or not. The spiritual gifts are byproducts. I see several answers that have to do with "helping others." This is a worthy, and appropriate ambition, but how do we do this best? For me, there are two facets of helpng others. First it is by being an example of what we hold to be a happy, enlightened indivudual. Walk our talk without the necessity of feedback. Being inner directed. Secondly, by seeing the best in others. Seeing and thereby amplifying their talents. This does not necessarily mean trying to influence or even talk with them. Just doing it, ourselves, seeing only the best in others, with love. I don't think that we actually can help others otherwise. answered 31 Dec '12, 14:02 Dollar Bill |

@Rob, Once you know the way, you don't need a path ;-)
As absurd as it may sound, those who wish to be enlightened for example, don't need to give everything up and move to Himalayas. You can light up your cigar, have a drink and still become enlightened.
So many people search for paths, when all you need is way. And the way is ever present, but folks try so hard to see the path, they miss the way.
