I have been doing long meditation-like progressive relaxation. For days now. For instance, yesterday I started at 4am, ended at 6am but then while driving an hour on a boring road, I kept meditating. I left the car at the service station and had to wait for a cab for like 10 minutes, and my meditative state continued. Afterwards I tried to sleep because I had slept little the night before but my body sort of wanted to keep meditating. I know it might not be real meditation, but it was a pleasant state that was sort of finding discomfort in parts of my body and making them go away. On the last couple of days I've felt pressure between my eyebrows, and it's odd that I can rather quickly get rid of any pain or pressure in my body but I can't get rid of this pressure. I'm fully aware of how I can be fooling myself thinking it's the opening of the third eye chakra. what you are saying is that you have tried meditation are trying to be aware and are at the level of taming your physical body,so that it does not bring you discomfort and now you are feeling a pain where your awareness is located. stand still fix a point in front of you that is not there with open eyes do not expect anny thing just focus and concentrate and stay aware if you lose awareness you still need to practice.if you start to see something just observe it and learn from it.eventually you should start to see the flow of your though and emotion and how they relate together.if you reach this point you are on the way to truly know your self in truth. so let there be light,Be the light that you can be,experience and enjoy. answered 11 Jan '13, 05:53 white tiger thanks white tiger, I will try that exercise \
