Do you believe spirituality is simply "emotional intelligence"? If you meditate to shift your emotions, without expectation of change in your outer world, is that really a spiritual practice? If you look at the world as solid and use spirituality to shift the neural filters you use to navigate it, doesn't that make your quest meaningless? Is your spirituality the atheist materialist's emotional intelligence? Do you live your life under "practical", "real world" principles which are divorced from what you believe to be spirituality? asked 31 Jan '13, 18:50 flowsurfer

This reminds me of what I heard of some people that said as they left from church. "It's too bad that stuff doesn't work in the real world." If they feel that way, then I have no idea why they even bother coming to church. If they believe this stuff only works in the spiritual world, then they lost the point. Thought controls energy, energy forms into matter. We could look at the spiritual world and the "real world" as simply different frequencies of energy existence. As gears turn all together, when one moves all move. Think of a bicycle and the gears, the large gear turns the small gear. But what happens if you turn the wheel. Now the small gear turns the large gear. They can not work independently of each other. Something in the spiritual affects something physical, something physical affects something spiritual. There is no separation even though most believe that we only experience the physical. answered 02 Feb '13, 01:27 Wade Casaldi love the gears explication ... could explain the law of tenfold return, gear x10 :)

who say that you can experience only the physicality? Do you not experience your though and emotion do you not control them? Do you not decide what you are going to do? And yes they lost the point and many are on the wide gate. they need to take the small gate and wash the inside of the cup.

@bluebird two I hadn't thought of that but yes I like that! Tenfold return, yes I could see that with the gears explanation. :-) @white tiger yes much agreed, and about experiencing only physical, I should have said, most believe they are aware of only physical.

It's part of a widespread belief that there is a physical world separated from an inaccessible invisible world and that only religious leaders can contact these hidden higher powers, god if you prefer. We can experience and therefore know other realities. Our physical bodies are linked to a psychic system that allow us to experience physical reality through our five senses ... the other half, so to speak, this psychic system is the invisible part that we often name the higher self ... our physical reality is a direct reflection of our deeper, inner self and these two halves are controlled by a double force flow, that is, the law of attraction. Once we become fully conscious of this action/reaction effect then we obtain access to multidimensional realities. Here is a 12 minute video by David Marshall on the subject of the nature of the higher self and a lot more http://yourgreatawakening.com/training3.mp3 love at work :) answered 02 Feb '13, 01:44 blubird two That higher self is you inside the cup water and spirit that are in division, know your self solve those division.

@blubird two No one of us is the same it is for you to find the path in you. you have to find the total peace in you with no division or darkness(and you will have alot of unsolved puzzle and hidden things to solve). once this is done you need to seek your water where the light that you are is reflected and that light that is you will guide you in all things (of mind and heart relation) until the 2 becomes one water and light. it takes over 40 days.

The Tao that can be completely explained or expressed in words is not the constant, eternally unchanging and true Tao. The Tao that can be spoken is not the eternal Tao The name that can be named is not the eternal name The nameless is the origin of Heaven and Earth The named is the mother of myriad things Thus, constantly free of desire One observes its wonders Constantly filled with desire One observes its manifestations

Empty yourself of everything. Let the mind rest at peace. The ten thousand things rise and fall while the Self watches their return.

They grow and flourish and then return to the source. Returning to the source is stillness, which is the way of nature. The way of nature is unchanging. Knowing constancy is insight. Not knowing constancy leads to disaster. Knowing constancy, the mind is open. With an open mind, you will be openhearted. Being openhearted, you will act royally.

Being royal, you will attain the divine. Being divine, you will be at one with the Tao. Being at one with the Tao is eternal. And though the body dies, the Tao will never pass away.

A good walker leaves no tracks; A good speaker makes no slips; A good reckoner needs no tally. A good door need no lock, Yet no one can open it. Good binding requires no knots, Yet no one can loosen it. Therefore the sage takes care of all men And abandons no one. He takes care of all things And abandons nothing. This is called "following the light."
