They say sometimes that music is a Universal Language...The soul of Mankind, perhaps, sometimes... It has picked me up today, and this has reminded me how important music has been to me all my life. It brought me directly to Christ when I was a teenager, and I loved, loved, loved digging into the classical stuff, feeling God in the music of Bach and Handel. But that is me...We all dig different stuff. What's your story? Does it matter to you? Has music helped you reach your Higher Power? Peace, Jaianniah Dig into this music while you ponder... Love to you all! J. asked 08 Feb '13, 17:57 Jaianniah Barry Allen ♦♦ |
In the past, I didn't think much about music because I found many songs to be pretty boring after a while, as most of them tend to repeat the lyrics or chorus numerous times. But with the improvement in technology such as youtube, many people are making funny parodies or just singing covers (without the choruses most of the time or repeating choruses) for other songs which are easily accessible to me. Those are short and sweet and I don't get bored listening to them at all even if I repeat them continously. When I listen to these songs, I feel like a completely different person and it also helps to liften my mood up for the rest of the day. answered 10 Feb '13, 12:23 kakaboo |
