I suppose it cannot possibly be--since we are part of God and He of us...but I wonder if this idea about God knowing every thought we think is really true. Can it be? How could it be accomplished? There are over 7 billion people on this planet! Help! Jai

I believe He knows "everything", otherwise He cannot be omniscient. A god that is not omniscient cannot be God at all. God is "all knowing" and that includes the privacy of our mind. Living in holy life includes purity in what we think and in our motive. These two are the most private of ourselves. No man so far can invade us on what we think. But God can see what we think. He even forbid us to commit lust to someone in our mind because it is equivalent to an act. There are also accounts in the life of Jesus where He read the minds of those who wish to question His teachings. It's funny you say no man so far can invade us on what we think. I believe this is true, too, but I have a collection of external "voices" I hear, which know exactly what I am thinking. I sometimes wish they didn't.

I don't have any experience of voices in my head, not even from God that I desire. With your experience, did you verify that they are from physical man? Man like we encounter everyday in the street?

They're not inside my head; they're outside my head. But: no, the voices cannot prove to me they are real, and they never speak of their life in the real world. I don't know if they're generated by my mind, or if they're generated by the universe/quantum field of possibility.

@ele, the passage in the Bible (Matthew 5:28) cross my mind with that. If it will be used to judge against me then I am liable to it many times daily until now. I just raise the point that God can identify what is in our mind.

@ele @Romel-I think Jesus was trying to make the point that thinking comes before action. This we know from the LOA. His solution was too extreme for me- I am not going to cut my eye out if I see a hunky guy- but He made a good point about thinking coming before real action. Hope this helps you both! <3 Jai

I thought this s issue was settled back in the 70's; it was for me. @Romel Perhaps I was being a bit sensitive; thought maybe you were judging me for lusting after dear sweet innocent ru bis . No, there really is only the illusion of privacy (Separation). If we think of frequency we see there are everything from X-rays To Gamma rays, Infra-red, to Ultra-violet, to sound waves. All of these can be called separate but as well be called The Spectrum. All frequency blending into each other as parts of the whole. but can not really be broken into parts since they blend into each other. You can't really tell where one ends and one begins. If these frequencies were thoughts, (I believe that these are part of the spectrum) then nothing is separate. If all is this one spectrum, then there can be no separation and hence nothing can be hidden but only seem to be so. I believe God is that infinite spectrum of everything. If a man is in a hall of miroir and see is reflection he know it is him. if someone else comes in that hall of miroir he knows that it is someone else make in is likeness.Yet for God he is light(spirit)and water(soul)is hall of miroir is in globing everything that exist.is pulse and awareness is like a golden wave that spread in every direction.And every child make in is image use that light to communicate to each other.When the son of man will go above he will know this.And when the son of man-
