Karmas very misunderstood, particularly by those with an evangelical christian bent, in fact by many with a " religious" mind set.

You do get what you sow, but you get what you sow into your consciousness.

If God were going about punishing people for their misdeeds then there wouldnt be anything left on this earth but charred remains.

Its a false concept, its blatently not true and its spread by people who are misguided and mistaught. Unfortunately this crap is passed on from one misguided generation to the next.

There seems to be some who almost relish the thought of god finally getting his own back when the culprits leave this earth.

This relish is the product of an uneducated and often sick mind.

God doesn't work that way. He does not interfere with anything,. It is you that drives your existence. And I do not mean to be rude, but the fact is that you are creating all of these existences. "The mills of the gods grind slowly, but they grind exceeding fine". There is truth in this. Often we proclaim that justice has been done when a person suffers Physically, Financially etc etc. We ignore the mental state of mind.

People who use others and trample over them and move ahead, they are never at peace with themselves.

Like a slow but sure flame, God makes sure that they burn a little everyday. It is all in mind. So you could see a guy driving a Ferrari and living life king size, but internally the suffering he is going through, that you can never see.

And not only that. The children of such people also pay the price in terms of a messed up childhood. And going out in the world with wrong morals.

And nothing is more gut wrenching than to see your own kids living a life of a wretch. When one asks himself why this happened, then maybe god will tell him that it is because of the pain he/she caused to someone innocent many many years ago.

There is really no bad luck. Its all a part of God's justice. And BTW let us not single out men. Women are also equally mean.

Law of attraction states simply "like attracts like." The reality here is we attract into our experience what is vibrating in our experience. Babies, infants & children enter with their own vibrational energy into this world based on the soul work they want to do in relationship to God. That means that there are experiences you will have that really have nothing to do with human life being cruel to you. Your soul is here to learn, to perfect itself. Jesus came as an example of this. He taught that original sin and conditional love are within the mind/ego and forgiveness as well as unconditional love are in the heart. Guess where God awaits you. Exactly where your Soul Image is imprinted, in your heart. Therefore it will always be there that you find God and your unlimited capacity to forgive, accept, love and let go. We all have work to do. We are all asleep in some way to our misdeeds. We all have the capacity to be sinful(low vibrational thoughts/judgments/deeds/behavioral patterns/etc) as some of you would put it. The truth is God & Jesus know exactly what is within you right now that can evolve. In order for peace to come to you and this planet, we all need to be open to fact that we contribute energetically to everything that is happening. To hold someone to the cross, is to keep yourself nailed there to, not what Jesus wanted. For every whip and slash and nail in his flesh, he forgave each...

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. Luke 23:34

As you each awaken, you will remember why everything is happening as it is. Yes all that is happening around us is at times unnerving, shocking and seemingly unforgivable, just know though that every soul involved here agreed to be here to create in this experience. You are Spirit living a human experience, not the other way around. Be well, be in peace, practice forgiving yourself and others. The world will continue to improve as a result.

In other words "why did i attract this situation into my life" and "why doesn't god punish?"

The answer is that the universe is very simple and very obedient;

I attract into my life whatever i give my attention, energy or focus to ... right "now" and at every moment, our moods and feelings cause us to send out vibrations and there are only two sorts of vibrations, negative and positive

I am Christian,and what you reap, you sow. Therefore, Karma is as applicable to Christians as it is to any other religion. Just because Christ preaches "forgiveness' does not mean that God does not see and will not make the wrong-doer responsible for his acts.

In truth, crimes against women worldwide mostly go unreported and unpunished. Especially in the Middle East, women are subject to men, and have very few freedoms and must obey all sorts of out-moded laws. I saw film footage of an adulteress who was put to death because of her crime. This is way too severe. What happens when a man strays? We do not hear about that.

Christianity is not about "peace and flowers", It has teeth. "He who lives by the sword shall die by the sword." Christ was no coward. He stood up for what He believed in, and He was put to death because He stirred up the status quo. He threw out the money changers in the temple- he was furious that they desecrated the house of God.

Men who do bad things to girls ought to have the same things done to them...in jail. Especially men who misuse little girls. These are despicable men, and believe me, God is watching. he is preparing to bring this world to a close as we speak.

I cannot explain why men do bad things. I think it is in how they are raised. They no longer revere women. Women are just play toys to them. But trust me, God is seeing all this, and will make them pay.

How I sometimes see this issue is that for all we know, this is the latter part of 'what you reap, you sow' playing out. As in, the 'girl' at some point in past did such and so, and 'man' was on receiving end of that. Flash forward to scene where man is observed as hurting girl, and we think in our wonderfully limited perspective that this is first time 'girl' has been subjected to such torment, and that guy is gonna have to pay off that debt. Yet, what if it is the debt being paid off from before? And that our objective as observer is to practice forgiveness, not compound the error via limited awareness and pretend like girl is wholly innocent and guy is wholly guilty. Pretend like both are wholly innocent and that the party perceiving guilt (the observer) is one that is plausibly affecting own karma, by insisting this right here deserves punishment, and not forgiveness.
