I find since I started spending most of my day surrounded by silence, my ability to manifest has trememdously increased. What role, if any does silence play in manifestation? Do you find a correlation? Thanks, namaste asked 04 Oct '10, 10:23 daniele |
Without a doubt there is a correlation. True power is accessed in the silence - I think we gain access to something beyond our human mind, we quieten the egoic mind and tap into a higher state of consciousness or universal mind. It is often after we realize complete silence that our greatest inspirations begin to unfold and this affects everything that we manifest. I think Mother Teresa's quote sums it up beautifully - "We need to find God and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness.God is the friend of silence.See how nature - trees, flowers and grass grow in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun,how they move in silence.... we need silence to be able to touch souls." The greatest manifestations all take place in silence and they can be our teachers. answered 04 Oct '10, 13:51 Michaela Beautifully said, and I love that quote, thank you, namaste!

In the fifth spiritual law, the Law of Intention and Desire, you will see how you can introduce a faint impulse of intention in this field, and the creation of your desires will come about spontaneously. But first, you have to experience stillness. Stillness is the first requirement for manifesting your desires, because in stillness lies your connection to the field of pure potentiality that can orchestrate an infinity of details for you. Imagine throwing a little stone into a still pond and watching it ripple. Then, after a while, when the ripples settle down, perhaps you throw another little stone. That's exactly what you do when you go into the field of pure silence and introduce your intention. In this silence, even the faintest intention will ripple across the underlying ground of universal consciousness, which connects everything with everything else. But, if you do not experience stillness in consciousness, if your mind is like a turbulent ocean, you could throw the Empire State Building into it, and you wouldn't notice a thing. In the Bible is the expression, Be still, and know that I am God. This can only be accomplished through meditation. Another way to access the field of pure potentiality is through the practice of non-judgment. Judgment is the constant evaluation of things as right or wrong, good or bad. When you are constantly evaluating, classifying, labeling, analyzing, you create a lot of turbulence in your internal dialogue. This turbulence constricts the flow of energy between you and the field of pure potentiality. You literally squeeze the gap between thoughts. The gap is your connection to the field of pure potentiality. It is that state of pure awareness, that silent space between thoughts, that inner stillness that connects you to true power. And when you squeeze the gap, you squeeze your connection to the field of pure potentiality and infinite creativity. Daniele I think sometimes that being in a hurry represents "lack of" I would say just be...and act like you have what you want. Being in a how do I get there sooner mode, just reiterates that fact that you are unhappy with your present situation. (if in fact you are) Just like that old saying "you always find that person when you are not looking" Not only that but being totally happy and Joyous with what you have will open the doors of the universe to ADD to what you have. More begets more. Much love, Always! answered 05 Oct '10, 12:31 jim 10 |
There is merit there, since the beginning of time people use to silent the mind in prayer, fasting, and mediation to ask for what they want; and they believed that silence was the key to connect to the higher self to get answers, solve problems, and to receive enlightenment. answered 04 Oct '10, 22:58 Inactive User ♦♦ |
Hi Daniele, I can relate to what you are saying. For me I do better with the silence but I am not sure if it is necessary. Some people connect in groups or in a congregation. I guess it really does not matter as long as we are feeling the peace and harmony associated with connecting to the source of our being. answered 04 Oct '10, 23:50 Drham |
Silence is always here, it only covered by the dual aspect of noise. Noise is the unconscious and perpetual process of the mind. It's part of the primary condition which fortifies the illussion that we are separate individuals. Witnessing this process (as an unbiased observer) allows the process to slow down dramatically, and in some instances, a gap will provide momentary clarity. In that clarity we find a borderless transparency where not only can we most efficiently intend for the "thing" as a manifested tangibility but also discover that thing we intend for has the same portal where the ability to recieve becomes mandatory as a councious recognition that we "have" recieved. In that expression, in that unfolding, true gratitude arrises. This gratitude inturn fuels our communion, sinchronicity and oneness with god, spirit, consciousness, brama ( or whatever other useless name you can think of). We become more transparant to the border of our own limited persona and begin to see the availability, just thru witnessing this relationship outside of ourselves, of the whole universe. Our intellectual borders can not help but be humbled by this experience and we then evolve not because we are told, read or were taught.. but we do so because we know thru direct experience. Here knowing replaces the common and collective approach of aquiring more spiritual knowlegde. answered 26 Jan '11, 16:18 no1wakesup "we then evolve not because we are told, read or were taught.. but we do so because we know thru direct experience." the truth is found in silence you need to still the body and notice the meaning of the turmoil of the mind(though linked to emotion) to put it to rest! only then can you achive pure awareness and pass that gate to go to god! all physical sense go and the golden light come to you and you go in it! all those light spot like little orb of shape and form of different colors talk to you and bath in the goldent light! and the biggest source of light is god! he will reveal all that you need to know do not ask to many question because what you need to know and what you think you need to know are 2 different things! and even if you want to know all you can't retain all when you come down after making the choice to come back here and finish what you have started! to add something more when you put to rest the turmoil of the mind you will see that things affect you only because you let them affect you!that is why you will put it to rest why feel bad about poeple that are blind and stupid it is not your fault it is there choice and not yours! will you let that ruin you or stop you? answered 27 Apr '11, 02:49 white tiger |
