This has been a pressing thought for me for quite some time. I always hear people that use LOA say to take inspired action that feels good. On the other hand I know some people such as family who say that you will never succeed if you only work towards your goals when it feels good.

This is very confusing for me. I don't know which path to take. The Idea that inspired action is best sounds ideal to me. However it's discouraging to be pressured by family members who don't believe in taking only inspired action.

I've been unemployed for 2 years, but ever since i found inward quest my life turned around and I started using LOA which worked for me and I found 2 jobs. I've been taking inspired action in recent years and this brought me more results than random action. My parents now keep pressuring me to take action thats not inspired and I feel like this puts a hold on manifestation.

I already told my parents about LOA but now they keep pressuring me more and more. I wish I could just be present and simply take inspired action but I feel like i'm now forced to take uninspired action everyday.

I respect my family but i'm just so confused with all of this. I'm 22 years old so I'm sort of new to this whole LOA thing.

Any Advice?

Thanks

A-H daily quote to the rescue again! Hey @BrianSegov . Read your question last night before bed .. thought well lets see if something comes to me.. well doing my email this morning. I get daily quotes from Abraham-Hicks. (You should try it too) they come at about 7 in the morning here in Sweden. anyways

Inspiration comes forth from within. It's what the light burning within you is about, as opposed to motivation, which is doing it because if you don't do it, there will be negative repercussions. Motivation is making myself do something that I don't really want to do. Inspiration is having the clear picture of what I am wanting — and letting Universal forces come into play to get the outcome.

@ursixx - Great advice, I love my A-H quotes emails. They so often come in at just that right moment.... :)

I am also really enjoying my love letter from Easy World every morning. Feels great to establish that "Let go" attitude that always helps me, and makes room for so much good to flow to me. http://www.iliveineasyworld.com/llfew/love-letter.php

.....which also seems to arrive at just that right moment. I just read today's love letter - this week is a series of affirmations: "I easily relax into alignment with the Divine Design and my every thought and action are inspired." How fitting LOL! :)

Inspired action feels natural. You don't even have to think about it or worry about whether it is the "right" action or not.

I saw your question and I just knew I wanted to answer it - and I did. There was no doubt saying "what if it is not my destiny to answer this one... what if I was supposed to answer that one... was this really an inspired action?"

I guess the closest word I can find for it is "allowing" yourself to just be, or having "confidence" that what you do is perfect and even your mistakes are perfect.

Yes, I have advice. Im in a similar situation in many ways to you. I have a partner who frankly believes the stuff we discuss on this site is complete crap, or at the very least not of the slightest bit of interest to her.

She doesn't believe I taking inspired action, and LOA isn't in her vocab. In fact ive never met anyone who is more disinterested in this subject.

She wants me to operate in a purely physical way, she wants me to have a safe job and make decisions entirely based on physical common sense.

So I do this...I do make "some" decisions and actions to placate her, I have got and hold down a job. I save money, pay bills and operate fairly sensibly to keep her off my back. I know that sounds very non LOA but I do it to keep the peace...BUT I then operate spiritually/vibrationally as well. I keep my beliefs very much to myself, spend a lot of time ( more now than ever ) moulding my thoughts and beliefs. I absolutely believe that this will bear much fruit. In fact it will to such a degree than soon I will not be operating the way I do now.

I have a foot in both camps so to speak, and I will do until both my feet will be in one camp.

It would be great if everyone around us believed as we do, they don't!! its just that simple. But hey...theres some contrast in that, and potential for change and movement.

That's the best I can do Brian

Hope it helps

All inspired actions should come from a place of complete alignment, any other way brings resistance into the picture which can trigger forced [misaligned] effort, resulting in a forced [misaligned] outcome. This is indeed a tricky situation you mentioned above, but it's very important to put your well being/alignment first above everyone and everything else, it can be challenging at times I know, I've been there. As you focus more inward and being aligned first no matter what's happening outside of you, the circumstances with your parents could improve, this is because your focus wouldn't be on the ''pressure'' that's being placed on you by your parents, instead your [dominant] focus would be fixated on your chosen reality, so your circumstances would ease up and move more in your favor. Take your focus away from the pressure and aim it towards your desired outcome, hold on to your vision and don't compromise.

To me, inspired action is action that stems naturally from a good feeling place. I had a conversation with one of the most positive people I've met in person.

Here was his advice to me: "It doesn't have to make sense/Just do it".If there's something you want to do just do it what ever's on your mind say it. Be yourself.

I thought to myself that this guy knows how to have fun and a must have a pretty good quality of life because of it.

However, you should only act from a "good feeling" place or even a neutral place. If you are in any way feeling negativity then think twice before you act. I usually just use energy healing in this case.
