From my understanding Gnosis is spiritual knowledge obtained, by those who have become enlightened, through a transcendental experience or connection to the infinite - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gnosis I think any wisdom we learn from a truly enlightened being can only be beneficial in our own spiritual growth. I agree any wisdom we learn can be beneficial to our spiritual growth. Thank you

As with any word, it depends on the context. Some schools use it to indicate the self-knowing aspect (as in "know thyself" and "the awakening of the planet to self-awareness"). Yes, it depends on the context that it is been used. Thank you
