I was discussing with a friend on doing things to increase self confidence. The conversation led to him mentioning a room mate, Maverick, he used to live with whom had the reputation of being (as it was put) "unbelievable" in terms of Mavericks aura. According from what I had heard from a variety of sources, he was able to seduce women (on their own will) within minutes and able to persuade people to his way of thinking all the time. Funny enough, I was out with this friend and we bumped into him in our city streets. At first anyone would think he be an ordinary person...this gentlemans calm, relaxed energy was unbelievable. Interacting with him I was nearly moved to tears because of this high chi his had within him. This magnetic aura, this energetic field draws people in and they feel blown away simply by the interaction. I originally thought it was charisma but have learned possessing energy and charisma may be two seperate things. Through expressing my eargerness in his energy, I befriended this man and discovered his seeminly secret: It was being in the present moment with people, giving them your full attention, eye contact and having zero thoughts. These were his words: be present by being present (and be relaxed). It was a philosophy similar to the teaching of Eckhart Tolle. I created a formulae I tested out that produced results I have never witnessed before. I went to a nightclub to chase girls. Instead of just approaching women directly and with confidence like I always do (with mixed results), my game plan was to approach, and during the approach, be totally free of any outcome, be in the moment with the girl, and look into her eyes. The results I had were, haha, unbelievable. Some said within minutes "you're amazing", and "why am I drawn to you?!" I was getting eye chased like crazy. Why is it, this one simple trick, has made me come across like a jedi master? Have you had any similar experiences? asked 25 Nov '13, 08:47 Nikulas |
Getting yourself into The Now moment is one of the age-old "tricks" used for millennia for accessing your higher powers. For further rambles on this topic, see Do our "thinking minds" play any part in Vibrational-Raising processes or are they just a hindrance? :) One of the interesting things about these abilities is that they can be achieved two ways...one is through a brute-force ("Yang") approach and the other is an effortless seemingly-happens-by-itself ("Yin") approach. The "Yang" approaches generally get all the publicity and hype and make people believe there is a price to be paid for what they want...and it's also hard work, the power is unstable and fleeting, and push it too hard and it eventually bites you :) Call it The Dark Side if you want :) The "Yin" approaches are so gentle, effortless and peaceful that it seems that nothing is being done and nothing is happening at all...yet there is unlimited power available when you tune into that "emptiness". When you meet someone who has mastered a "Yin" approach, you've met someone worth knowing :) If you look through the classic Tao Te Ching, you'll get a feel for the power of "Yin" ... the enormous subtle power hidden within that still, empty, effortless Now moment :)

PERFECT GOOD
@Stingray- Again, great to hear from you. Quick questions if its not too much. 1) If I wish to become a master of Yin energy then I can just focus on doing the 1 of 3 things that are heart centrered as you specific in your other answer? 2) If I have problems, quirieis, or need advise from my higher self, then would it be wise to do one of those 3 things? Say I'm concerend about something, I could write it down on paper and then do some deep breathing?

@Stingray- Oh, and 'Yang' energy. What are some examples of how this is a brute force approach to culitvating universal energy? The 5 Tibetan Rites- would that be yin or yang?

@Nikulas - "What are some examples of how this is a brute force approach" - Anything that feels to you like it is being "forced" is brute force :) That doesn't actually have anything to do with the action you are taking, just the timing of it. There are times when, for example, you might actually feel like doing your taxes and other times when you don't feel like doing them. Just Surf The Vibrational Waves :)

@Stingray - but in certain religions, "Yin" is also associated with ghosts/spirits/devils, etc, which might make people afraid to consider that approach. Why is that the case ?

This reminds me of the following passage by Chuang Tzu:
It's something I've found to be true in the martial arts, writing, performance, and just about everything in life that I can think of. answered 04 Dec '13, 00:17 lozenge123 @lozenge123 Nice analogy and I agree. When the archer is completely in the moment while shooting, his limiting beliefs about losing are inactive and his vibration is raised. So he shoots like a pro. I guess he could be a pro consistently once he neutralizes his limiting beliefs about losing through conscious moulding... or through letting go of limiting beliefs unconsciously in the practicing process (which is more usual I think).

To simplify what is being said (or at least what I think is being said): Yang is a person of power and motivation, while Yin is a person of appreciating and embracing all the stuff that is already here... Here is a story: There were two men, one of them was a man aligned with the Masculine energy of Yang, while the other man was aligned with the Feminine energy of Yin. The Yang man said to the Yin man, "look at this tree, it is ugly and lumpy, it is useless since it can't be chopped down properly and used for wood.", the Yin man replied, "instead of trying to change the tree into something that it is not, it is still useful for what it is. This tree can be used for shade, for resting, there are many uses that it can be used for exactly as it is now". Yang says "If you want the spoon to bend, you must use your strength to bend it" Yin says "If you want the spoon to bend, you might as well get a bendable spoon or bend yourself to change your perspective" Yang wants to dominate and control while Yin wants to embrace all seeing the good in all. It's not that "Yang" is it, it is very enthusiastic and just happens to be controlling in the process without even realizing, and even "Yang" has his purposes for existing. :) answered 03 Dec '13, 21:42 arpgme |

YES I have. But it only started happening when I stopped caring about the results. When I became apathetic about chasing women and frankly couldn't be bothered with them I seemed to hit a rich vein of success . "When its no big deal it happens for real "
