I want to take part to a competition. I'm currently training to be ready for this exam. ` What can I do to get rid of the feeling that "I won't be able to succeed", "I won't be one of the candidates that will be chosen". It really consume a lot of my energy and will have an impact on the D-day. I currently bounce from "I'm totally able to do it" to "I'm surely not good enough" and back. What can I do? Is there a spiritual path or training that I can take to avoid hearing those kind of "bad news before it happens" and to believe in my chance ? asked 04 Nov '10, 15:37 Pierre Barry Allen ♦♦

Keep on imagining that you've already taken the exam and won the competition. Envision how sweet that feeling is and relish it. Bask in that feeling. Every time you catch your thoughts straying or scattering, refocuse on the image and feelings. Good Luck, namaste answered 04 Nov '10, 19:28 daniele |
I was in you shoes not too long ago and I learned a hard lesson. In short, you need to get yourself in a good place, with internal and physical harmony. If you have this fear in you, this anxious awaiting, what if's, etc - it will hurt you. You will not be truly believing in yourself with this in the back of the mind no matter what you tell yourself. Make sure you don't throw away all your hard work of studying. Get yourself in a more "free" and happy emotional and mental state. answered 04 Nov '10, 15:58 Back2Basics |
Decide that you are really going to do your best. This is all that you can do. Decide that the outcome will be fair and just. Know that you will be guided all the way. Don't leave anything on the table rally go for it. Let go and let God. Keep letting go. Special Blessings! Reverend Tom answered 05 Nov '10, 02:57 Tom |

Well, how did you do?
I'm still waiting for the date to be published. It will probably take place in 02/2011. Concerning my faith in me, it's like on a roller-coaster... I can not make it stable on the high level.
I finally failed. Because I was sure I will. Nothing else. It's quite sad, but I knew it.
