Consider: And is it possible to be able to do everything with a laser sharp mind? asked 16 Nov '10, 01:15 Inactive User ♦♦ |
I believe we are capable of anything we can imagine, once we challenge our own fears, and that includes developing a laser sharp mind. I think the quote by Marianne Williamson says it better than any - “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” answered 16 Nov '10, 14:53 Michaela Nice! thank you Michaela

The most likely path to a laser sharp mind is the clearing out of those beliefs that would prevent it. I'm not smart enough, I'm not good at [math, science, etc]. It's the way people see themselves that enables their abilities. answered 16 Nov '10, 15:40 Vesuvius "the way people see themselves that enables their abilities." that is true and I am always curious what would happen if on a larger scale many people changed the way they viewed themselves to a more positive way.

I can appreciate your point, and frankly I do think that self esteem plays a major in it. Thank you.

Sure we can develop a laser sharp mind. It is all about discipline. No doubt we'd be able to do everything with our sharp mind but what a bore that would be... thank you, namaste answered 16 Nov '10, 13:51 daniele Good point: and there would be no challenge; I hear you! Thank you.

I think the more you "work out" your mind the stronger it will grow. The stronger your mind is the more you will be able to be/do. However, since it appears there is no limit to this strength, it could go on forever, but relative to other people as a baseline as well as your old self, I would assume there would be a larger difference. As far as the actual energy to do things, I believe there is bodily and biological processes that also govern when you need rest, but perhaps it will be much strong as well and more quicker to recover. answered 16 Nov '10, 16:39 Back2Basics Thank you for your answer, your last paragraph has a lot of merit to it, and of course disciple play a very important part.
