If the larger worldly corporations or entities know about our true power, the Law of Attraction, the existence of life outside of Earth and so on, why do some of them seemingly still go on this quest to try and control us (or mankind?) I used the word 'worldly' because I am referring to corporations/entities governed by humans just like us, in case people might be confused with extra-terrestrial entities. It's been mentioned before that governments in larger countries, the rumoured Illuminati groups etc know about our (or humans') true power and maybe also the existence of extra-terrestials (example : the rumoured hidden Area 51). Also, if free energy was even remotely possible, I think you can be sure they will go to extreme lengths to try and cover it up at least for now. But if they know about this power, why don't they harness this power for themselves instead of trying to manipulate and control mankind? The existence of governments itself seem to be a way for these people to control mankind, but if they also know about this power that we have, then logically things should fall into place themselves without the need for any governments. What good do they get out of controlling and manipulating people or are they just control freaks? Of course, I may be wrong and that no one is actually trying to control mankind, it's just my imagination. asked 16 Apr '15, 11:56 kakaboo

It's because, to them, it feels like the right thing to do. From their point of view, they are sincerely doing "good", as they see it. As for their exact reasons, you would have to ask them but I can assure you that their reasons will make sense to them :)
Obviously their reasons wouldn't make sense to you, otherwise you would be one of them :) Looking at it more broadly, however, they are playing a beneficial role. I remember George Lucas, the original creator and visionary of the Star Wars movie saga, being once asked about he came up with the idea of Darth Vader. I'm paraphrasing roughly from memory but he said something along the lines that he realized that how good his story was going to be would depend on how bad the "baddie" in the story was. So basically he came up with the baddest "baddie" he could think of :) ...and he was right...the story behind the movies has been so much more interesting for it. When you've got a "baddie" who can kill you just by thinking that he wants to kill you, that's bad...in fact, that's seriously ultra-bad :) So what's the point here? The point is that if, from your Broader perspective, you had incarnated into an environment where the key purpose was to gather experience, wouldn't your experience (your story) be so much better for having more contrast? i.e. someone stirring you up by playing the role of a really bad "baddie"? So what I'm saying is that from the broader viewpoint, these entities that attempt to control are adding to the experience so your broader viewpoint would never see them as something to be frightened of or something to fight against. In fact, from that perspective, the ones who are willing to play these "baddie" roles just make our life movies so much more interesting :) EDIT Just as an afterthought, since you may not be able to directly ask "The Illuminati" (or whoever/whatever is supposed to be doing this stuff), your question would be just as valid if you steered it towards any staunchly religious person. There are a few that visit Inward Quest from time to time who seem to imply that they can reconcile their religious beliefs with a Law of Attraction viewpoint though, not being religious myself, I don't know how they do it :) So instead of viewing these "Illuminati" groups as mad powermongers who are trying to control humanity, view them as simply following their own religious beliefs. And then you might be more understanding of why they behave the way they do...even if it still doesn't make any sense to you :) answered 17 Apr '15, 06:34 Stingray 3
@Stingray Good point. It's also interesting that those we call "baddies" think of us also as ultra-"baddies" if we aren't doing "good" like them. So we are also adding to their experience causing them a lot of contrast as a "baddie" even if we aren't actively fighting them. If you ask them why they think you are a "baddie", they'll usually begin with a sentence like "If everyone thought like you, we would all... [add negative outcome here]". :)

@releaser99 - Yes, exactly. The "bad" see the "good" as bad also :)

@kakaboo - "though you might have stepped on a few toes here" - I saw an interview recently with the creators of South Park (the TV cartoon) and one of them said that they can get away with so much because offended people just shrug and say "It's just that South Park again", as though people are resigned to what they do. I have a vision in my mind of various offended people on IQ shrugging in resignation at their computer screens and saying "It's just that Blah-Blah Stingray again" :)

Basically, I'd say that everyone who attempts to control people and circumstances doesn't even logically consider the most fundamental universal truth which is... Everything is always working out. If one isn't even in the vicinity of this truth, then it's logical that in order to feel safe, loved and worthy they have to control people and circumstances in order to feel that way (at least that's what they believe will happen once the desired circumstance is in place). Because that's what their belief system is suggesting. It is suggesting that everything is not working out. And things not working out can mean a lot of bad and terrifiying things. And it can trigger massive survival mechanisms. So to avoid those bad outcomes, they try to control the uncontrollable. It's similar to someone who fears heights. Tell him to look down from the 13th floor of a building and he just won't do it. Because even if all his logic suggests that it's safe, his belief system is still telling him that everything is not working out. And in this case, for his belief system it means that he will die and cease to exist forever if it doesn't work out. So there is not one reason to fear those people (or entities) who try to control thought processes of other people. They are just trying to feel safe, loved and worthy. It's just their way of expressing it. If one considers those real reasons why they try to do that, it then gets easier to be more compassionate towards these people. And no one can control thoughts of others anyway. They can only make it appear as if one has to believe what they believe. But we are always free to choose our own beliefs. And our emotional guidance is always telling us if what we want to choose to believe matches universal truths or not. answered 18 Apr '15, 11:51 releaser99 |
The answer is such groups do not have the full picture - even though they think they do (don't we all?). Even if such groups knew everything, knowing about something and applying it consistently are quite different things. answered 16 Apr '15, 13:01 cod2 |
Because we have a right to rule that must be exercised, just as a bird must sing and a fish must swim. The masses of humanity do not know what is best for them, nor what is best for their fellow man or our world and society at large. They are little cogs in a great wheel in a great machine that is beyond them right now. They look 3 feet in front of them and there they stop. We however have a view that extends far ahead and a purpose that is set to us, set to us note, not by us. Certain things must be pushed ahead, and certain things held back. Each comes in its due course. Just because a time may be ripe for an individual does not mean it is ripe for a society. There are structures in place and with time, like all things, they weaken and must be replaced. However, we cannot have a weak point in the structure fell too early, or the whole structure may fall and the whole of society with it. A certain amount of stability and order must be maintained, except insofar as instability is introduced to fell an old relic upon which we can erect a new and sturdier structure. So gradually and in an orderly manner society moves forward like the ship of Theseus, changing bit by bit without destroying the whole thing, but in the end, all new. One man does not make a society. To operate in this manner, with precision, a certain level of predictability is required from the public who make up the society. As it is, the public is swayed easily by influences they aren't even aware of. The idea that they have free will, while nice, does not hold in practice. They could perhaps, but better they don't. Note again, these influences are not set in motion by us, but we do direct them in the most appropriate manner and are aware of their occurrence well beforehand in all but a few cases. The very fact that they are led around so easily is evidence that they need, even crave, leadership. Were it not so then we wouldn't have been given a right to rule and had we, we still could not. This is not about individuals; this is about society as a whole. We do not want to have to push the reset button. We encourage a steady and stable progression, not a foolish one that jumps in leaps and bounds. Here one day, gone the next. That is what may happen. Not everyone is supposed to realize their power. Everyone must be tried in the furnace and if found wanting, it is no big deal. Eventually all will be refined. But again, bit by bit. We keep the furnace running with a steady heat. That is our duty and we do it well. We are simply doing our job. You do yours. answered 18 Apr '15, 05:33 Liam (The above is, of course, all make believe as it were, and not my real view ;) )

Our "power" finds its expression through our beliefs and the emotions that drive them. These entities that you refer to realize this and understand that if they can alter your beliefs so that they are in alignment with their beliefs this will, in effect, multiply the power of their beliefs and thus affect our mass reality. This is what is accomplished through advertising. It is not so much about trying to control us. It is more about limiting our choices. You always have control over the choices you make and thus the degree of "control" that you are willing to allow them to have over you. answered 24 Apr '15, 09:09 i4cim2b |
simply because they seek money and power. and think that it set them apart from the rest of the world. it is all based on control to attain their objective in this world. some seek good things for them self and other and some seek good thing for them self and not for other. by doing that division on other and creating that model that it is the best thing to do to be in control and to be number one no matter on who you make bad stuff. other will follow their way and do the same to them. only when this happen will they start to realize and understand what they have done and that it did not serve them either. you see in this world many are in darkness about what they do to them self and other for this reason some makes law and model to follow. those law are not all bad but not always all good. you see in this world people create law to serve them to their level of knowledge and understanding. but since none are in the other person shoe and did not experience being under the law that they made to solve some problem. some time it create other problem. and even if a law would be perfect for a time being. what about a later time when something new is created and change the very nature of what that law was made to do? then that law needs to be review and corrected to serve the new thing and new context. a simple example of this would be the internet. look at copy write law. every computer that view something as it copy in its memory. yet you are not allowed to make copy. you see that that law does not make sense to this new model. why did they make that law in the first place to protect the creation of some people so they would make monney out of what they created. it could be book, music, movie etc. they sell or rent those things to people. why would a person go and buy it from someone else in the first place? is it because of the price? is it because they can buy a copy at a lower price? so the reel problem is that they sell it at to high a price. and someone can make a copy sell it and make a profit on it. the problem is not that someone can make a copy of what he as all ready pay for. since the creator of that product as all ready been pay. it is not that some people have the knowledge technology or equipment to make copy. it is a question of pricing. if they sell a product to high in price that what it really cost and some one can sell it at a lower price well the majority of people will go for the lower price since in this world you have a majority of people that are not rich. if they would lower the cost of the product more people would buy from them and they would make more profit. but if they put the price to high then not many people can buy it and they make less money. and some can copy and sell at lower price and make money. so the reel problem is that they over charge to make a big profit and some can sell the same at a lower price. but the one that make the copy as already pay the one that created the product in the first place to be able to make the copy. so the one that made the product is already pay. then what is the problem? they have went so far as put some virus in people computer with out their knowledge or permission. in the name of copy write. in some case it can harm the personal property(computer or device for music and video) of the client that bought their stuff and are using it legally.(Digital rights management (DRM) is a class of technologies[1] that are used by hardware and software manufacturers, publishers, copyright holders, and individuals with the intent to control the use of digital content and devices after sale;[1][2][3] there are, however, many competing definitions.[4] With first-generation DRM software, the intent is to control copying; with second-generation DRM, the intent is to control executing, viewing, copying, printing, and altering of works or devices. The term is also sometimes referred to as copy protection, copy prevention, and copy control, although the correctness of doing so is disputed.[5] DRM is a set of access control technologies.[6][7] In 1998, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) was passed in the United States to impose criminal penalties on those who make available technologies whose primary purpose and function are to circumvent content protection technologies.[8] The use of digital rights management is not universally accepted. Some content providers claim that DRM is necessary to fight copyright infringement and that it can help the copyright holder maintain artistic control[9] or ensure continued revenue streams.[10] Proponents argue that digital locks should be considered necessary to prevent "intellectual property" from being copied freely, just as physical locks are needed to prevent personal property from being stolen.[11] Those opposed to DRM contend there is no evidence that DRM helps prevent copyright infringement, arguing instead that it serves only to inconvenience legitimate customers, and that DRM helps big business stifle innovation and competition.[12] Furthermore, works can become permanently inaccessible if the DRM scheme changes or if the service is discontinued.[13] ) they only have to lower the price and it would solve their problem at the place of paying people to make virus and poison their own stuff that they sell to their client that will buy their product. so you see in this world they make law sometime for good reason but those law sometime need to be change. for security it is not bad but to try to make problem for your client is stupid. and your client should be able to enjoy their stuff that they have paid for with out having headaches. also if you put barrier, obstacle, protection system there is always a way to circumvent it. and it is good that their is a way to circumvent it since sometime things do not go as plan and you need to get in. simple example is some one forgetting is password he need another way to get in so there is fail safe way to do it. same to make your self a copy of a movie with drm on it. then you need a software that is able to do it. and it will come from a country that understand this and did not pass drm law against programs that circumvent drm. in that case also a pirate will find a way to circumvent any lock that can be made. if there is a way to make a lock there is a way to on make the lock. reel pirate and hacker probably do this and it is a very small percentage of people . it is not the client that are trying to enjoy the product or to learn more about the product. pirate are people looking for challenge and to show that their is nothing to stop them. so making drm for your client base to control them or to control how they use what they paid for is counter productive. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_rights_management we could also take for example the law that they made for gas price putting a minimum price saying that it was to protect the small competitor that sell gas. in fact it was so that they would make more money. they did not put a maximum price so that people would not be over charge. if their concern was really for the people they would have also set a maximum price. before they did that the price was stable for over 10 years at 0.52 the liter now the price vary from 1.10 to 1.50 in the same year. you see when something become to big it become a monopole their is no competition none can give a lower price and they can rise the price up since people have no other choice. because if people have the choice they will go and buy at a reasonable price. and those that sell to high will get stuck with their product or will have to lower their price and give the consumer more for is money. how can they give a lower price simple by cutting in the profit margin. and most of the company to keep a client will lower the price. with out client they make no money. and if the client have the choice and can go somewhere else to get the product; then their is competition to get the client. and they will cut the price off sometime you would be amaze that they cut 25% 50% 75% off and give you more for your money. but if you did not complain or look at the choice that you have they would make 25% 50% 75% more on you. and you would not know about it you would be in ignorance about it. some say ignorance is bliss. I prefer to say that the truth will set you free. well you have the choice. It is not possible for anyone to enter the house of a strong man and take it by force unless he binds his hands; then he will (be able to) ransack his house So the reel problem is that they think to much about them self(greed) at the expense of other and it does not serve them. Let there be light , be the light that you can be, experience and enjoy. answered 23 Apr '15, 00:45 white tiger |
