Are there different "groups" of people on a spiritual scale that they are born into?

I know the default answer would be that God, spirit, is all one and so are we.

However, are they any other perspectives on this?

I am reminded of the Oversoul Seven series by Jane Roberts (author of the Seth books).

Abraham has described themselves as "a group consciousness from the non-physical dimension".They have also said, "We are that which you are. You are the leading edge of that which we are. We are that which is at the heart of all religions."

Abraham has told us through Esther that whenever we feel moments of great love, exhilaration, pure joy, stoned-out bliss, even the energy of sexual orgasm when we feel that Energy Flow rushing through our bodies, that is the energy of Source, and that is who Abraham "is".

Hi Vesuvious. Thanks for reminding me that there were other Oversoul Seven books. It's been so long since I read "The Education of Oversoul 7". To be honest with you, once I found the SETH stuff, if was like diving head first into a whirlpool of Awakening energy, it sucked me right in and held me there for years. It was like my own private world of knowledge that nobody else could relate to, but somehow at a deep level every part of my soul went "well yeah that makes a lot of sense!” I never went back to the Oversoul material, so thanks for reminding me.

There are groups that drink snake venom to prove Christ protects them. So, everyone has a different take on what Spiritual. There is no spiritual scale. Some people may have been on their journey longer. But are we are where we are!

Some people might want to think so, but since everything borders on the here and now, there is really no relevance for a spiritual scale!

Yes, I believe in soul ages. Some souls just don't connect, no matter how old they get physically. And then you will find a young child that has wisdom with a depth that is unprecedented. This tells me that souls have levels.

As a young kid I was always told that I was wise beyond my years...

You would be considered an "Old Soul".

I believe that we are all BORN in the same spiritual set point, all equal at birth with the same potential. But many thousands of years of societal and cultural programming of our egoic selves has created a wide array of who we look like we are as opposed to who-we-really-are

So in a way yes, certain cultures have over many years cultivated an atmosphere that lets people grow more spiritually and get in touch and more importantly stay in touch with the true nature of being.

I did reard something Thomas Troward wrote. He seemed to say that the Anglo Saxon race had a certain take on things spiritual. And a specific role to play in the world order ( but he was a WASP after all )

Also ive heard many Christian evangelists say that they have more healings at African venues than they do in the so called developed world.

Im of the belief that were all extensions of source energy of the Father. BUT i do see certain groups who seem to be more aware of the spiritual. There was a programme on recently about ex soviet peoples from the Siberian area. They all seemd to have such a great take on things of the spirit, and also the link between mother nature and source.

Most of the western, educated people i deal with dont seem to care or realise these things. Thats i bit of a generalisation i will admit.
