I was just reading my book Be Rich The Science of Getting What you Want by Robert Collier

In this book on the In Tune With the Infinite chapter he says "It is only lack of RESPONSIVENESS to good that produces the lacks in your life. Good works on the plane of EXPANSION.

Earlier he stated how heat of LOVE, PRAISE and BLESSING fanned by the breath of FAITH. In other words appreciation creates EXPANSION.

I remember Dr. Joe Vitale said in Spiritual Marketing and later in The Attractor Factor, a short cut to manifesting is be thankful now. Again Appreciation.

In Be Rich Robert Collier says how miracles of abundance were brought from love, praise and blessing.

So it would seem an advantage to not only say grace for our food but everything in our life we want to increase, the more we appreciate we increase the value of. Think of this we say of old antiques wow that really appreciated in value. In other words the value went up because the appreciation for it went up. That is only one way though as we appreciate what we are given that makes the giver feel appreciated too and thus the giver wants to give us more! So when we show God we really appreciate his gifts, we show we really appreciate him and so he rewards us with even more!

It behoves us to make appreciation a habit, so how can we get addicted to appreciation so much so we do it naturally without even realizing it?

At the end of the day I write in a gratitude journal at least five things that day that I'm thankful for. Even when I've had a seemingly not so good day, there are always things I can find to appreciate and be thankful for. Since starting this, I have found that I just naturally look for more things in my life to appreciate.

Without a doubt, appreciation and gratitude raise our vibration and help us realize how abundant we are. And the nice thing about a gratitude journal is that it's always there to pick up and reflect on our abundance when those feelings of lack try to intrude.

I'd also add that writing in my gratitude journal has now become as normal a part of my evening routine as brushing my teeth and requires no effort.

Personally, and as a daily ritual I meditate, and give thanks to God/Universe for every new day in my life, and for proving for all of my daily needs. I normally give thanks for all the gifts that I have received each day, and all the gifts that I will receive in the future!

I give thanks for the universe and all living things above, and below; I give thanks for world peace, and healing of the nation everywhere!

Appreciation. We are able to express ourselves through sight, sound, smell and speech. Giving verbal appreciation is a common way to express this emotion. Another common medium is body language which involves sight. The two other modes of expression tend to get overlooked, but are just as important. The sweet smell of food and perfume can produce appreciation. As recorded in Genesis chapter 8:20-21 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. And last, but not least is sound. The pitch of our voice and rhythm of our speech can produce appreciation just as any other mode of communication. Musical instruments are tools for appreciative listeners. Fashioning all four sensory organs to habitually produce an emotional response has been mankinds attempt from generation to generation. Keep up the good work.

Wow this is so enlightening! I love it, yes instead of feeling I am playing for the congregation I should play for God! Love is action, when Jesus went to cross that was showing his love for us. Love is not feeling it is action. it even says in the bible no greater love is there than a man who lays down his life on the line for his fellow man. I can show this love to God in listening to music or burning incense too, but offer it as my appreciation for God. It is not that the physical deed God wants, it is the appreciation the showing our love to God. Thanks so much! :-D

This could be a whole sermon right here, living for God, doing everything dedicated to God, wow that would make a great sermon!
