I have found that when I pray, and then wait for the results, God has a way of taking His time. At first, I did not understand why. I thought that God didn't love me! But now, with a bit of age, I am finding that everything seems to come together at precisely the right time. I like to call this "God's Terrible Swift Sword", from The Battle Hymn of the Republic. Time goes by, and then suddenly, all things fall together when they need to fall together. Have you ever wondered about this? Do you have trouble being patient for things to manifest? I used to feel the same way. I would desire or pray for something and wait for God to deliever my request. Then wonder why I had not recieved it yet. Is it me or God? Since that time I have change my perspective. There are 3 steps to the process. I'm sure you've heard of it before. Step 1, Ask Step 2. God/Universe Gives Step 3. Recieve/allow In the past I believed God didn't hear my pray or I wasn't worthy of my request. Since then I've come to realize that God/Universe ALWAYS answers are request in the moment we ask. Step 3 is the kicker, which takes practice and an understanding of the process. Now a days (i'm in no way perfect but i'm getting better) I try my best to eliminate impatience by staying in the best mood possible. It's tough for impatience to set in when you're in a good mood for whatever reason. Impatience has a vibration of doubt and unsatisfied with now vibration, and this blocks your recieving. There are great answers on this site that explain the process much better. Just wanted to chime in. Hope that helps even a little bit. Happy Allowing!! |

It is a natural ability of humans’ beings to be impatience, and we are big on wanting everything right now. Indeed it a great weakness, but it is also a great strength to teach us patience, and to build our faith and trust. I have come to realize that the Law of Attracting is always working to provide for our daily needs, and our needs are being fulfilled to us according to our faith, and belief. The secret to manifest your desire is to believe that you have already received what you have asked for, and you should leave the rest to God, or the Universe to manifest it for you with perfect timing! |

at times i believe that we are greedy when we petition the lord with prayr; like reminding him that we exist and have needs that he didn't consider for us; then i remember those thoughts usually spring from my mind's eye instead of my heart's eye and swallow my hubris
