Hello everyone I was wondering when you ask the universe for something. Naturally, it'll respond right? But just wondering, when something you want fails, what do you do? Do you continue to walk forward or find something new? How do you know the universe has plans for you in a certain direction? Maybe that fall was supposed to make you stronger for the next step? Not make you avoid it and find something completely new? Let's say... you want to start a web business... something doesn't go right like not a lot of business partners are appearing. Maybe a better one is slowly manifesting? Do you keep trying to find it or.. maybe it's time to start something new? Like start a business in ... oh i donk't know.... making your own clothes line. The point is changing directions to something almost completely new. Who knows maybe the failure of the web business was going to propel you forward to find web customers for your clothes line? Thanks guys. asked 23 May '11, 01:16 Junwen Barry Allen ♦♦ |
A quick reply with a quote

I had to answer this question because I am personally going thru a similiar situation. I have started several web businesses over the years...and have yet to make any real money in them. My desire is still very strong however...I feel that I will feel better when I have this web business (producing real mobile income)...and so I am driven to continue to persue it. I suppose we all have a rather unique inner goal/visual (constantly adjusting itself) which we all vibrate to in terms of money/career/job. And hey guess what, financial success may come to me in another way all together. I was so focused on making it happen "this" way, that maybe I kept blocking others avenues. We do this in our lives as well as business...there is no real separation between the two. However, now that I know a bit more such as law of attraction, etc... I am trying to incorporate the same elements into my business approach. I am currently taking a break from it...turning my mind toward some other short term goals instead. Instead of spending hours on the internet everyday building my business, I spend time just thinking about the lifestyle that my web business will afford me. I have taken a break from the actual trying to make money at the web business...and putting more enery and time (thought)..into just the alignment of it. I think before all my efforts had been upstream, in terms of business. I can be a very action oriented person....so after applying some of the teaching of abraham I am allowing the universe to bring me the success on the internet that I am looking for. As opposed to me chasing the manifestation with my attempts thru uninspired action. Life certainly does conspire against us; so it would seem.... But that is the only way we can learn to master the laws of the universe. Life is the workbook in action. Your attemtps (and mine) at starting and maintaining a thriving business, demands you to master certain laws. And so it calls forth creative forces within you. I think that if we get in alignment with what we want first, before we actually do something to make it manifest...then our manfistations will come quicker and with less effort (and failure). The failure probably is at a higher rate, because we do things before the alignment takes place. In terms of business, proper alignment brings resources, clients and products together in an perfect almost... effortless way. If anything that we desire to manifest....doesn't happen right away. Do you give up? NO, you adjust your feelings and emotions about it, until you feel better. Once you feel better about that initial failure..then put it out of your mind for a while. If you don't clean up your emotions, then you will stay in the "failure vortex" as it regards to that manifestation. On another level, "failure" is a path that makes things interesting. If everything thing that we wanted to manifest...happened aways at once...or at first try...wouldn't that get boring real quick? Also, failure helps The Source (us)...experience all the potentials paths that flow toward and away from that particular manifestation that we desire. How would Source know that feeling of joy and elation of an experience...without the feeling of it's complement ? answered 23 May '11, 16:12 streetsanto |
That's a good question and I don't think there is just one answer. Trying to interpret the universe based on failures and successes is very hard. I use to think that "this" means "that" and that must mean I should do this...and maybe sometimes it is true but trying to make sense of it all the time is not helpful. I think if you take a failure and try it again there is nothing wrong with that but eventually, the quote from Einstein comes to mind:
So perhaps we can still move forward and change it up a little bit... answered 23 May '11, 18:44 Back2Basics |
