I'd be interested to hear some more input on this too.I've always had a gift for numbers... my brain can do all sorts of number problems with no real effort but I've never felt inclined to pursue it as a career.

However, I have come to realize that there are no accidents in this universe and have just recently started looking into numerology to see if I can find a correlation between my natural ability for numbers and the path I'm on right now. I did do an introductory workshop last weekend to numerology and felt some resonance which left me wanting to explore it a bit more.

I also came across a book of Dan Millman's The Life you were born to live which is a system he has created to determine one's life path through a three or four figure birth number. I do have to say when I worked mine out, I was fairly impressed with how accurate I felt the information to be regarding the corresponding numbers within my birth number. All the numbers have both positive and negative aspects and the corresponding information used in application with spiritual laws gives one a process to use in their own personal development.

However, like any process I think it's important to remember that it is only a tool to be used in helping one live in harmony with the cycles of their live and nothing is ever etched in stone.

I don't know if I'm ready to say I believe in numerology but I do have a feeling that numbers play a significant part for some on their journey.

Well, we can believe anything we want, right? Numerology can be like any other belief, but it seems to bring something different to the table, science.

Numbers ands mathematics are the language of the universe, assign digits to represent points in a 3 dimensional world and compare their relationships to each others points in time and space. We can see this in Astronomy (calendars and astronomy included), Physics and even Sacred Geometry. Now when you examine these principles you can definitely see the relationship between these numbers and the language they are trying to speak.

But numbers also have an inherent quality that only humans know how to manipulate. We can make numbers say what WE WANT them to say by manipulating perspective and by just seeing what we want to see, confirmation bias and Post-hoc analysis are great examples of this. Another great example I think is the Missing Dollar Riddle

Numbers are and can be very tricky, there are no coincidences, or luck or right or wrong, the point is, is who is arranging them?

Part Universal arrangements and part self arranged to fit our needs.

To answer this question let's take a look at how numerology works ;

Take the 2014 gregorian calendar and reduce 2014 to it's primary vibration; 2+0+1+4 = 7 ,,, the influence of the number seven means that 2014 will be a year of deeper understanding and realisations,

However for the many other calendars that use different systems, chinese, hindu, islamic, buddhist, etc ,,, the year 2014 doesn't correspond to the number 7 at all, So who's kidding who ?

The crucial element is that numbers are symbols and symbols influence life, So when millions of people all celebrate and accept that it's the year 2014, then that year will affect you in a « 7 » way, there will be realisation of deeper truths in all domains, in whatever sphere of activity you choose to work ,

Otherwise stated, numbers are tools that can be used to assist you in creating whatever you desire

Because everything has a vibration, I can see how there could be something to this. However, we have authority and control. We are more than the plants or animals of earth. We are the most intelligent on earth. We created all the machines and factories. This is not because it was in our stars or numbers, but because we said we can improve this world.
