Whenever I do EFT, eventhough I get relief from the emotion that I want to clear up I end up with a throbbing dull pain on my right temple. Why is that happening can anyone let me know? asked 27 Jun '11, 09:51 I Think Therefore I Am Barry Allen ♦♦

Try drinking water before and after you do your energy work. answered 27 Jun '11, 15:30 Fairy Princess Good point, Fairy Princess. I probably should have mentioned that in Manifesting Experiment 4. Ordinary water is brilliant as a vibrational equalizer or balancer within the body and one should always drink as much as is comfortable, especially after engaging in vibrational work. I advocate super-hydration generally as a way of staying healthy and vital http://www.inwardquest.com/questions/13145/how-can-we-equalize-the-mind-body-spirit-complex/13146#13146

Thanks Fairy Princess I will make it a point to drink water before EFT next time, I do have a problem of usually forgetting to drink enough water.

What happens if you tap on that throbbing pain?
@Stingray I haven't tried that yet but I have noticed that whenever I do any vibrational work this throbbing apears.
Stingray I just tried tapping on it and it became worse for a moment then went back to its orginal intensity i.e. very dull
Is the pain always with you, or does it dissipate after a while and not return?
I've experienced this too using eft, focus blocks. It's like a fluttering throbbing in the temples and forehead. I'm almost sure it's linked to the Chakras,or energy movements,as I have Done some energy raising work before with the same effect.:)
Changing beliefs seems to cause energy movement which can activate the chakras, making them flutter.that's my theory anyway.I don't think it's anything to worry about. :)
Try drinking a glass of water after EFT. Also, are you tapping too hard? Try doing a round of FasterEFT after to jus release and let go of any remaining stuff.

@Stingray it kind of lingers and whenever I do any vibrational work it stays for days with varying intensities, whenever I try and visualize or focus on positive throughts I become more aware of it.
