With 2012 right around the corner, do you think the year as a whole will produce more positive growth in the world or will it sink into the lowest of the lows? I guess another way of putting it would be, will it have to get worse before it gets better? I understand we create or own personal realities and we live in the type of world that we choose to focus on, but do you think the mindset of the majority of the people on earth are expecting bad things to happen? If so, will that collective negative mindset of thinking "the world will end" produce that last bit of dark negativity we humans experience to manifest before we ascend to a higher consciousness? I personally believe that December 2012 is the tipping point to a slightly more positive collective consciousness and will grow from there. I also think that we may have to go through some rough times throughout the year first. I think the world as whole needs to get that last little bit of lack and not enough-ness out of their systems before they can accept the change that will occur. The fear tactics of the "so called" people in power will probably not help the majority accept the new positive change as well. What are your thoughts on the upcoming year? More negative or more positive? |

It's been almost six months since I asked this question and I felt the need to give my current now moment perspective on the subject since we are in the year 2012. It's funny to see how fast we can grow in a spiritual manner. I look back at this question and can see some resistance in me. I can see how every so often I would give my power away to things that are outside of me. I don't think what I asked was a total doom and gloom portrayal of this current year but not quite from the perspective that I see things today. Only six short months later.
The first half of this sentence was right on the money, but my resistance showed its ugly head in the second part. The second half of the sentence was me giving my power away to outside situations and circumstances. Simply put, it doesn't matter what happens outside of me or what other people think or do. It only matters what I think and feel. My thoughts and emotions are my own personal universe and what I create I live, period.
Again, my first sentence was right on with what I believe today. The second one, not so much. If I go through "rough times" then that is my choice and nobody else's. It my choice through my emotional state what kind of events I am attracted to. We are a collective consciousness but that doesn't mean that we have to agree with how other parts of that collective experience their reality. I have basically come to a point where I don't care how groups of people (or people I am supposed to listen too) think I should react to a certain time frame or circumstance. It really only matters what I think, feel, and believe that is the deciding factor of which reality I choose to exist in. 2012 has been a year of tremendous growth so far. I don't pay attention to the news and when I happen to come across it, I don't really care what is being said. I have noticed a more profound high vibration throughout my body in my day to day life. Almost as if it's becoming my new habit to feel good more and more often. I feel that the contrast of the negativity that is out there in our world just turns me into the direction of what I want instead of shouting no at it. I have learned to let go of other peoples experiences and shift to the parallel reality of the perfect Earth environment that fits me best. 2012 is definitely a year of far more positive change. There is no such thing as The Earth. There is only My Earth. I choose to experience positive change on my earth and let everyone else decide what happens on their own preferred version. 1

Absolutely more positive :) something I noticed yesterday is that from my perspective there are a lot of positive changes happening in the world. If you focus on the positive changes like how people are recycling more, looking for alternative Eco friendly fuels and the amount of good information about how to change our realities that is available now, you will notice even more positive things that are already happening (like attracts like). You will notice a shift in your vibration and a overwhelming feeling that ALL IS WELL. Love your answer and yes I also believe we are heading to a more positive consciousness ahead.

There is change going on as can be seen by these "Occupy Wall Street" and the likes there of. People seem to be getting uneasy with their living environment and moving towards changing things. If this path continues with voting then the Twelve Visions Party has a chance and we could see the day even the poor become rich. We could have a TVP president in 2012! :-) 1
True Wade there has been and there is a lot of change by people demanding change and this change will bring in a better positive consciousness for us all.

The key is not to focus on whether they are positive or negative, rather to focus on oneness. Duality is of positive and negative nature. When one focuses on the positive they are automatically energizing the negative because of their aversion to it. 2012 or whenever it shall be is really not the end of the world. It is the beginning of a new reality called Oneness where Ether is recognized and felt. It is the end of all illusions-duality, time, space, form, separation, and division. It is important that we do focus on The Middle Path in order to exist in this reality. Since all illusion is ending all those who still see into the illusion will end as well. The key is to find balance and see that everything is one and only one exist. It is an illusion to think two forces exist or no forces exist. Hi Cory, I believe that we are all moving towards a more positive Consciousness where more and more earths people are united in demanding change as well as helping eachother. Never before in history have there been so many that are willing to help their brothers and sisters and never before have people felt such compasion and unity for their fellow human beings as they do now. The people are demanding change to a more humane way of living and are realising that we all have the same dreams of living a better life. Changes have been going on for a number of years already and will for quiet a number more after 2012 but right now we are at a pinacle of change on a global scale. United we stand and divided we fall for "Not only are you your brothers keeper you are your brother." (The quote is my own.) Great quote :)

@Paulina 1, funny I know the saying "united we stand, together we fall"..but what I want to address is you saying never before was there such compassion in the history of human race. Are you sure? Because I would bet there's been much more after terrors of wars for example, than there is in today's rather peaceful age.

The Chrisian rainbow is a symbol of God's faithfulness and his promise to never again destroy the earth by flood. It comes from the story of Noah and the Flood. After the flood, God placed a rainbow in the sky as a sign of his covenant with Noah to never again destroy the earth and all living creatures by flood (Genesis 9:12-16).
