Slap in the face, simple question. Yet I am surprised this hasn't actually directly been asked on the website before, probably because it seems way too 'basic.'

However, I would like to know. How do I talk to God, source energy and angels?

Simple question...and equally simply answer :) ...

...just get into a "good feeling" place and think/speak whatever you want.

Note that "good feeling" means more than just feel neutral, it's means something that puts a smile on your face.

Because "source energy" is naturally in a "good feeling" place, you need to match up (as much as you can) to those vibrations in order to be "heard". Your intent to be "heard" will complete the rest of the requirements for "source energy" to step down in vibrations enough to connect with you.

@Stingray- Hmmmm.....Very paradoxical that whenever I want to talk to Source/ God/ Whatever it's always when I'm feeling blue. It would never, ever come across my mind to communicate when I'm feeling good, simply because, I don't require any help and I'm just enjoying my day.

You are always 'talking' to God with the actions of your life and the thoughts in your mind as well as the words that come out of your mouth. The question is, what are you saying?

If what you are asking is how do you pray? then that is very personal. First, you must decide who do you say God is? Also, it depends on what you want to say. Are you wanting an anwer to a question, do you want a manifestation, healing, relationship, petition for another, to express appreciation, etc...

When I am driving down the road and a car cuts me off in traffic, I used to get mad, yell or cuss or grumble or call them names, but now I pray for them. I realized that the 'road rage' feeling and expression was a response partly based on my perception of the expectation of the others in the car. I also realized that either way, I was only creating more negativity and making people uncomfortable. It's not cute, or cool, or tough, it's a trap! The Bible says to pray for your enemies and those that hurt you, and it also says to pray without ceasing. So, I took those ideas and began to pray for people who cut me off in traffic. It sure changed the atmosphere in my car from the one it would be if I got angry whether I expressed my anger or not. I said my prayers outloud so that my son could learn this habbit and also join me in the prayer. I say something like, "Heavenly Father, please bless the people in that car. Protect them and keep them safe. Help them to drive safely and coureously. Bless them in ways that you only know. Help them to turn to you. In Jesus' name, amen." Some of this is because I heard other people pray that way when I was a kid. Also, in the Bible, Jesus tells us how to pray in Matthew 6:5

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 6But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. 9“This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. 11Give us today our daily bread. 12Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’ 14For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."

However, you don't always have to be so formal. You can sing praises, express thankfullness and gratitude, etc... You don't have to say, "In Jesus name" at the end. In Jesus' name means with intentions aligned with the Spirit of Christ. That you represent Jesus in your prayers in a way that Jesus recognizes as His representatives. It's how we treat people.

Well said. ^_^y I personally agree with this answer the most. If you are TRYING to "find out how to talk to God", then you are TRYING way too hard. God is not a man who likes when people harm those he loves, so if you are trying to talk to him while you still have inner corruption and turmoil, there is a 99% chance that he is just going to yell at you for being a jerk, and God can be VERY loud when he wants to be.... Just something to keep in mind.

God is Your Father in Heaven.

That being said, just talk to Him just like your would your Father.

It is that simple. Tell Him anything and everything. He IS interested in every tiny detail of your life. He loves you completely, and absolutely. He WANTS to hear from you!

Nik, it really IS simple and easy.

And that's the truth.

Merry Christmas, my friend!

Very interesting question.. As with others you like to ask, an extremely dangerous question, with an extremely simple answer.

The answer is far more simple than what Stingray would have you believe, but it can't be told in this fashion. That is not how God meant for it to be.

If you want to know how to talk to God you have to figure it out for yourself, that's the rules.

[Oh, and the answer is in fact in the Bible if you insist on searching for it there. Books are nice, but I would strongly advise against only looking for it there.]

First and foremost is to understand you do not need to reach God, or even communicate to God like God is someplace else. God is you and everything within and around you. So if you are looking for God you've found God right where you are. If that is too much then sit in a chair relaxed facing an "empty" chair, God is there just as God is everywhere.

So we can talk to God like a best friend, a parent, a sibling. Someone who is very interested and values you and everything you have to say. Think would you be interested if you could go back in time and listen to your childhood self and what he/she has to say? Very much you would, as anyone, you would care and love that childhood self with no judgement or need of a quilifier for earning that love because you know that is you. That is how God feels about you.

We can make an official prayer or command something, meditation is awaiting the answer, it may also come through other means as a God-incidence, or even from a dream. Otherwise you just talk like God is right there, because God is right there.
