When I was a kid, I had some things figured out. I knew who I was and had an idea what I could do. Even the Bible says to come as a child. Then I forgot, and remembered, and forgot and am remembering again. I hope I don't forget again. I think that each time I remember or wake up, I understand more. I really hope this time I stay awake, remember who I am. Do we have spiritual sleep cycles, or is this just me? |

Hi Fairy Princess - It's at least you and me. I thought it was universal, but maybe I've got that wrong. I studied and practiced so much of what I do now, ten years ago, then went right back to sleep. I feel like I've wasted so much time, and wonder how could I possibly have done this?
What I really want to know is, how do I prevent it from happening again? I do try to steer clear of spinning-wheels and spindles... ;) I am so glad it's not just me. I love the fairy tale spin. ;)

I just finnished the first season of Once Upon A Time. On Netflix. It really makes you think about alternate realities, falling asleep, waking up, etc...

That is an excellent point. I have to say, as soon as I read that, I realized that is exactly when it happened to me - when I decided my whole world had to be about something other than me. Aha moment, there @Fairy Princess, I think you've got it. I'd still like to know what the mechanism is, though. It's interesting.
