After something negative has just happened in your life, what do you do to mould your vibrations and change your emotions so that something like it doesn't occur again and so that the situation has a positive ending that is to your liking? I understand that dwelling on it and being sad about it can only make it worse, so I really would like some advice on what should be done instead.

I have to be honest...everytime I've had something really bad happen in my life I always take time to let all my emotions out. If I feel like crying, I cry, and if I feel like talking about it, I talk. The only thing I don't do is focus on the negative.

What I mean by that is that it is okay to be upset as long as you don't become even more negative because of it. I have to give an example...when I ended a relationship with someone I cared deeply for, sometimes I cried and cried and cried, sometimes I vented about it with my support system, and sometimes, when I wanted to be alone, I thought about how much more balance I would have in my life.

I learned a lot about myself, and I grew so much because of it...I learned that bad things happen, but as long as you're alive you have a chance to experience more happiness. I learned that even if I have to be alone for awhile, being me is worth much more than being in a destructive relationship. I also learned that life doesn't guarantee happiness...you have to find and create your own no matter the cost.

I didn't know what it meant to 'let go' until bad things happened in my life. It's easy to go with the flow when everything is peachy, but when you can accept the bad (find peace, come to terms) and keep moving forward, you know that you have grown (at least a little!).

Good luck to us both!

I shift my thoughts immediately to what I DO want, and I continue directing them in that direction no matter how many times I need to adjust them.
