So you know all these spiritual ideas and fancy worded ancient philosophies and fancy quotes and poems. Thus you talk the talk. So far, so good. But do you also walk the walk to feel better? I strongly believe that everything we humans do or think is for one reason only. We want to move away from pain and move towards feeling good or better. So how much is spirituality worth when it's not helping you in a tangible way in your daily life? How much is it worth if it doesn't satisfy the need that all humans have which is... ... wanting to feel better? Has spirituality helped you walk the walk on a constant daily basis? Or are you still just talking the talk? Has spirituality helped you become more happy and fulfilled?? asked 23 Mar '13, 00:06 releaser99 Barry Allen ♦♦

For me there is an important difference. "move away from pain" does not work for me. I tend to bring the pain with me. What works the best for me is to fill my life with joy and ignore anything else. When I am connected to Joy, so-called "problems" answer themselves. This is simple. I still DO have to remember to focus on Joy.
Unquestionably the answer is YES. answered 23 Mar '13, 08:47 Dollar Bill |
To feel better it as to come from you,no one can give you that. And what you need also comes from you. When you decide that you do not need something you do not suffer from it anny more. You ask what spirituality is worth. You are spirit. What are you worth? What you are worth is it tangible for you in a daily life? When you talk about your physical body about money or physical things from this world, you assign them value. all those things will pass away. Only your spirit(light) and soul(water) will remain. Then what will you value more? Are you even now in a position to know the truth or judge about those things? Then why do you need to debate it and assign value to it? So seek the truth, keep watch, have good eyes be whole and filled with light ,experience and enjoy. answered 23 Mar '13, 00:39 white tiger |

That's one of the main reasons I'm a newbie again. Freedom!
I don't think there is anything specifically that I'd like to believe personally. In the morning I may believe one thing, in the evening the opposite. I'm open for it to change based on my mood.
As for philosophies they're just little cute stories, just like little red hood, whinnie the pooh, little mermaid. You pick the one you like the most and live in your dreamy fairytale-like world afterwards. ;)
do not be surprise at my saying, verily verily i tell you:If you know the truth you will be set free.Until then you need to know, yet the child seek to know and the father know. When the father show the child, the child get to know and understand the truth to the mesure that he can bear.He experience and enjoy. And when he comes back to the field the worker cannot understand it.
He said, "A [...] person owned a vineyard and rented it to some farmers, so they could work it and he could collect its crop from them. He sent his slave so the farmers would give him the vineyard's crop. They grabbed him, beat him, and almost killed him, and the slave returned and told his master. His master said, 'Perhaps he didn't know them.'
He sent another slave, and the farmers beat that one as well. Then the master sent his son and said, 'Perhaps they'll show my son some respect.' Because the farmers knew that he was the heir to the vineyard, they grabbed him and killed him. Anyone here with two ears had better listen!"

Don't you have a saying, 'It's still four months until harvest'? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. http://bible.cc/john/4-35.htm
