(CNN) -- A mysterious, circular structure, with a diameter greater than the length of a Boeing 747 jet, has been discovered submerged about 30 feet (9 meters) underneath the Sea of Galilee in Israel.

The structure is comprised of basalt rocks, arranged in the shape of a cone. It measures 230 feet (70 meters) at the base of the structure, is 32 feet (10 meters) tall, and weighs an estimated 60,000 tons. It is twice the size of the ancient stone circle at Stonehenge in England

Could this be further proof of a alien civilization here on earth?

this question reminds me of a school joke ... the teacher asked a pupil where the city of chicago was and the pupil replied "at the bottom of lake michigan" :) ... funny thing is, that pupil was me

yes but the point is i didn't do it on purpose, it took me a long while to understand why everyone laughed

I was that kid too. I never got those jokes - way too analytical - everyone always laughed (as did I). Then I would spend time trying to figure out the joke; which made for more laughs. My friends explained it to me this way - I just saw stuff different from everyone else & that was cool with them & besides it was always good fun - if you can take a joke & I could..

haha debility! To be perfectly honest - I never got the joke. I read your comment to someone else & she laughed & laughed. Then she explained it to me. duh! It was a big joke at school - let's see if ele gets it! lol! I rarely did.

It sounds like this lake was formed by an ancient crater like from an asteroid impact.

I need 100 characters to post. right now I can't think of anything else.

@Wade lol! Are you saying I asked a really dumb question? It was in my email today. Thought it may be of interest to someone on IQ. Theme seems to be aliens. Plus 1 for honesty. CNN sucks & so does't the person who sent this to me!

@ele No, I find this very interesting. Have you ever seen the blue circles of earth?

There are very beautiful perfect circles of dark blue water. Even at the edge of the ocean you see these. They are from ancient creators.

Your right, the blue circles of earth! Thanks friend!

Thanks for the link - cool!

(23 Apr '13, 05:09) ele

yes seems very likely @Wade, a giant asteroid hits the surface of the earth and penetrates deep into the ground and a lake forms in the crater, love the pictures of the blue circles :)

@Wade Casaldi - do you mean "craters" where you say "creators"?

(23 Apr '13, 07:00) Dollar Bill

@Dollar Bill Yes "craters" not "creators" sorry lol! I changed it in the main but can't in the comments.

aha @Wade that mistake, "creators" instead of "craters", is probably quite significative
