For example, does an ugly soul have an ugly body? Would it be correlated or inverse? I.E: Would an ugly soul compensate by having an attractive outer appearance? Or if we make ourselves more 'beautiful' on the inside, does it truly make us more beautiful to others on the outside? Or is outside beauty only superficial? Or both? On a related point inspired by a suggested similar question, is what we see in the mirror the way others see us? http://www.inwardquest.com/questions/12577/what-do-you-see-when-you-look-into-the-mirror asked 11 May '13, 19:55 Snow |
As the saying goes Never judge a book by it's cover. True beauty has nothing to do with physical features. An authentic soul reflects itself in the aura of a person. People are naturally drawn to them because of what they emanate not what they look like. They embody a confidence (not arrogance) and self assurance simply through their beingness and how comfortable they are in their own skin. When you look closely it's usually reflected in the eyes...which are indeed the window to the soul. answered 11 May '13, 21:58 Michaela It's ok to judge the soul but not the body? Uh-oh.

@Michaela (and everyone)- usually reflected in the eyes- I have an unusual, small red speck in my right eye, in the white pigmint area. A healer once told me the speck was there as it reflected a deep issue relating to my family. I am well and truely over any past negative history in my life, is there any significance in this or has anyone heard of anything similar to my case?

@Nikulas I once had an iridology session and he did an assessment of the sclera (the white of the eye) as well as the iris (coloured bit) - apparently all those blood vessels and markings have significance. It usually relates to your physical health but it could show other things (I don't know) - anyway if you want to explore it, an iridologist would sort you out.

@Catherine- Thanks so much for chipping in there. It seems like such a goofy shame that mainstream western medicine would just blow off that sort of thing as nonsense- I wear glasses for one but no eye doctor has yet to make a statement about my odd red spot. I am certainly going to book an appointment with this iridology idea. Thankyou again

I wouldnt say that theres any such thing as an " ugly soul" Our souls are perfect, our minds however, well thats a different thing. answered 12 May '13, 01:12 Monty Riviera Eh, I see things differently. I think we start out with a perfect soul, as it is just on loan from the big-perfect-soul in the sky. But it is uniquely ours in this experience, to put into it and take out of it, to do with it what we [free] will. As a consequence I believe our souls are forged through our experiences just like all other aspects of our being. I suppose you could distinguish between 'heart' and 'soul', or 'soul' and 'mind', but I consider the soul where our actions reap results.

Outer appearance, that is, how we present ourselves, how we dress ourselves, reflects what we believe ourselves to be and how we perceive ourselves, it's our individual inner vibration, our emotional makeup that reflects itself outwards "looking in the mirror all she sees is ugliness, so she makes herself into a rainbow ... so many colors so many shades, a smiling clown full of makeup to hide the face she thinks is ugly" "Everybody hides trying to escape from the ugliness, inside and out. But you cannot run away you must face the ugliness, realize that you're looking in, through a broken mirror, it distorts the image of who we really are. For everyone of us is beautiful, but we must believe it to feel it. To feel it. God makes all things beautiful, so turn your heart to the son, and let his light shine on you, and bring the beauty that's in you out. You are beautiful in his eyes." answered 12 May '13, 01:50 ru bis Now thats an ugly soul hohoho

Show your best face to the mirror & you’ll be happy with the face looking back at you.

To answer your question it depends who you ask. The one that see only the outside will say that only the outside matters. the one that see the inside will say that only the inside matters. the one that see both will say that they both matter equally. Yet who as clean the inside of the cup to solve their own division and duality? Who as purify their water with pure water to remove the poison water that produce evil from the overflow of the heart? Let the spirit guide you in the desert where there is no one to give you no pain, then you will not be putting your awareness on the outside but on the inside with open eyes, you will see what troubles you grasshopper inside of the inner house clean the inside of the cup with pure water that will solve the duality and division. When there is nothing false in you the spirit will guide you in to all truth. Eventually you will overcome the 2 will become one. Then with no fear you can leave the garment, cross the narrow door and go above. Let there be light,be the light that you can be,experience and enjoy. answered 04 Aug '13, 23:57 white tiger |
