Dear Inward Questers, During her youth, my fiancee had a few experiences where she fainted, and then found herself on a beach where she was visited by dead relatives before awakening. I myself had a waking experience a few hours after my grandfather died, where the image or vision came to me, of him lying on the beach, and seeing his father (my great grandfather) standing over him extending his hand to help him up. I am reminded of a quote from Lord of the Rings, written by J.R.R. Tolkien, which pertained to notions of death and the afterlife:
Although I'm not sure about this particular quote, Tolkien was known to take much of his imagery from his dreams, such as the gigantic tidal wave that appeared in "The Simalrillio" wiping out the island nation of Numenor. Please let me know if you have any insights. Thanks again, and all best. asked 15 May '13, 17:19 lozenge123 Barry Allen ♦♦ |
It's hard to fully interpret dreams / visions as they are all unique but here's what some of those symbols you mentioned might mean. I got this info from here. I have used this site myself before and it seems to be pretty accurate. I hope it helps:)
