Hello... A few days ago when meditating it was the FIRST time I understood falling into the "gap". I heard nothing around me and during my meditation I saw at first what seemed like a golden light in the distance, but the harder I focuses realized it was an eye of an eagle. At first I started to pull back but I continued to focus..

The eye never blinked just stared and then it disappeared and I saw a human eye but it had a purple aura to it then a light blue and it opened and closed very slowly a few times before just staring right at me. It faded after a few minutes and the eagle eye returned again but this time it was a pair and they too just stared, and the only difference is they did blink.

Then I saw the human eye and the eagle eyes at the same time. I have no idea what it means if anything at all. I've never had it happen. I asked a friend and she says it's ou is dreaming but I thought that's when you were asleep.. Then some said my pineal gland was waking up. Any thoughts on this?

Anyone here could give you myriad interpretations as to what the eagle eyes mean. However the question that you need to ask yourself is what do they mean to you? Just like dream symbolism if the interpretation does not resonate with you it is meaningless. As far as the pineal 'waking up' I can't be sure, but you can. Besides the vision what leads you to believe that is what is happening? If more experiences in your life corroborate that then you may very well be onto something. I will say as a final note, depending on the goal of your meditation practice the vision could just be a distraction on the way to something bigger. Take this zen anecdote for example:

A student went to his meditation teacher and said, "My meditation is horrible! I feel so distracted, or my legs ache, or I'm constantly falling asleep. It's just horrible!" "It will pass," the teacher said matter-of-factly.

A week later, the student came back to his teacher. "My meditation is wonderful! I feel so aware, so peaceful, so alive! It's just wonderful!'

"It will pass," the teacher replied matter-of-factly.

Yep its kiki,

I appreciate that you have been meditating for the time that something is strongly introducing to you as it is itself. It could be a different experience from person to person.

I would like to share one of my similar experience. Some hundred hours ago while I'm in sleep suddenly something made me to wake up. After I opened my eyes, I collected my consciousness with all fearful vibrations. I tested it with the thought willing to see a something dangerous (dangerous face that we see in movies). I turned my face to that direction where I pictured it. Finally, I have really seen a devil. I put all my strength to win the situation to take control of myself. I could manage it.

But after all its a play of my self consciousness.

My purpose of this answer, I do not want to bluff myself by saying something is wrong or incorrect or it won't exist the in the universe. I want to understand all types of truths instead of not any particular truths to make rest of all untruths.
