I'd like suggestions as to ways to surrender to the processes and changes of life without fear--when I cannot meditate. At times I am really good at focusing my mind on the positive and being in the Now, other times not so much. I can tell when I am doing one or the other, I can feel it in my body and recognize it in my thoughts. I meditate often and that definitely helps, yet when I am working I cannot meditate and my mind wanders and begins to worry from time to time. Any at work or on the go suggestions? asked 16 May '12, 18:42 figure8shape Barry Allen ♦♦ |
The other day I had three negative situations happening all at one time. It was nothing serious, but still, they were events that needed my attention and they were unpleasant. On top of that I needed to be someplace within the hour and some time would be required for getting ready. I was wishing I had time to meditate and refresh my mind, but there was no time for that. I stopped for a few seconds though and remembered to live in the moment. I stopped worrying about the appointment, I stopped my regrets and anger about what had led to the negative problems in the first place. I just stopped all of that and did what I had to do step by step, moment by moment. I let go of trying to control everything and I reminded myself that the sun was going to come up the next day no matter what, and that helped with perspective. I handled the issues and got ready for the appointment with no stress after that. My advise is to keep perspective, do your best but relinquish thoughts of control and just live moment to moment at difficult times. Best wishes. answered 16 May '12, 19:26 LeeAnn 1 thanks! :) nice answer that was :)

In these modern times, we don't have the luxury of retreating from life to explore these inner awakenings. We are the generation that must work this out while wallowing at the bottom of the muddy trenches of conscious attention for the sake of the rest of humanity. In the bigger picture, your ability and our ability to transform ourselves under these conditions is exactly what is necessary so that the greater part of humanity that is soon to begin gasping for spiritual clarity in the unfolding inner turmoil will have access to this database of experience from their own inner consciousness. For others to benefit from your transformation, you must be within the same struggles that the others are experiencing so that there is a vibrational match between their desire to overcome their struggle and your personal experience of having overcome that very struggle from the very same perspective. You automatically upload your experience within all of consciousness and through this process; you help everyone, because your "technique" becomes the basis of intuition for those that follow the same circumstances. We are not going to wake up in a spiritual bliss for quite some time yet. In addition, I don't think anything will change as long as we are trying to silence our worries with meditation. answered 16 May '12, 22:24 The Traveller |
Here is a quick, easy way to relieve stress, clear your mind, be in the Now, stop hiccups, etc... I call it Two Hands Touching. Put the palms of your hands together and close your eyes. Quietly, in your mind, as yourself, "What do my hands feel like?" Then, without thinking or naming feelings, feel the answer in your hands touching. Don't try to think or not think, just feel your hands touching. Do this for at least 30 seconds and up to as long as you like. I just know when I am done. Do this as often as you think about it and every time you need it. Try it on everything, but expect nothing. With practice, you will be able to do it with your eyes open and while doing other things. You can also put your hands on anything if you can't put your hands together, but the two hands touching is the best. answered 29 May '12, 09:36 Fairy Princess @Fairy Princess, THT/EFT has been hugely successful. @Fairy Princess, THT/EFT are not the same? It's my understanding that they both tap the meridian points. Is this correct?

meditation is being aware of your self and solving your duality. it is always possible.can you do something with your body and do something else with your mind at the same time?then you are aware that you can do more then one thing at once, even if the body is doing something the mind and the heart can do something else.fear is only a choice.you fear because you receive signal that should be use to be aware that something can hurt you is dangerous or is not understood.make another choice protect your self, understand it solve it.fear is the only darkness. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5kBqrHphjo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SVzzhN-hQI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJjEwhlsDws be like still water: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ski6MYYqyQ&NR=1 "I can only show you the door...you are the one who has to walk through it. answered 22 Jan '13, 17:38 white tiger |
