I feel like I am having a roller coaster ride and it's very tiring. Is it possible to be in the upward scale and never feel down for the rest of my life? asked 19 Jul '12, 09:57 Angelfire 1 Barry Allen ♦♦ |
@Angelfire 1 Your situation is common to a lot of people when they first really start out raising their vibration. I know I recognise it very well indeed. I am still very much progressing through this rollercoaster cycle - I described it as "swinging across a very wide bandwidth of emotions" on one thread. However, I feel I have to share with you what I know and if anyone else knows better they can always chip in! When you start raising your vibration you are really stirring things up quite a bit. I started out thinking that it would be relatively easy to build good feelings on good feelings - one thought leads to another right. It sounds really simple and it is for those who are settled into higher vibrations. However, I have found the waters to be quite choppy to begin with so there are going to be downs as well as ups. I'm really just working through the ideas myself but my basic advice is this: Everything has a rhythm to it - when you are feeling good, really milk it. When you aren't feeling so good the temptation is to really, really try to feel good and from experience this just makes it so much worse as the energies are quite unstable and pretty soon you are in a downward spiral. It is quite hard to focus on the wanted part of the subject, I find the best solution in those times is more passive - you just sit them out, watch your thoughts - like watching a ripple on a pool of water - just accept the negative feeling unconditionally, observe your thoughts. Let the negative feelings just pass through you and in this way they are integrated. The key thing is to STAY PRESENT - not allow your worries to take you off into the future or into regrets about the past. Once this passes (and if you don't feed it with negative thoughts it WILL eventually pass) I actually find I am feeling much better and then work on the more active feeling good processes with increased joy. The sitting tight stage is not a one off cure all, you may go through many months of applying this before you feel you can forget about it but you should start to see a gradual upward overall trend and you should start to feel more emotionally stable in a few weeks. It is early days for me but I am already seeing progress. (Some people on this site would suggest EFT when you experience these negative feelings - see other questions/the internet for details about that). One writer described it as like being in a dimly lit room - you shine a torch and the shadows appear strongly. If your room is brightly lit and you shine a torch, the shadows are barely noticeable. As you make the room brighter with your raised vibration, the shadows will become less too. I hope my answer helps. If not, don't be afraid to keep asking questions - I'm sure there will be many others here who can help you. PS: The trick with rollercoasters is not to cling on with rigid resistance but to flow with the ups and downs. EDIT Just wanted to add to this that I have ordered an e book from the Interview with Spirit website (Ken Maclean) and it addresses this "all hell breaking lose when you first start out" so familiar to so many. It is called something like "What to do when all hell breaks lose". You might find it useful. answered 22 Jul '12, 06:14 Catherine Excellent advice, @Catherine. I neeed that, too. Still riding enormous pendulam swings, just learnlng to not take them too seriously. I really apprciate your help. :)

@Grace - It is harder than it sounds though isn't it - but at least I feel like I'm not "stuck" anymore. Thanks for your comments Grace.

@Catherine, find a role model to avoid roller-coaster ride and/or lessen it's negative effects.Took over a year of bodybuilding before I found mine. Someone who's already where you'd like to be. Now, I know a lot of people who are at that plane, but it took time to find 'the right one' with whom I'd feel connected on more levels than just the one of our shared interest. Although he's half way across the globe and we never met, as long as I have the internet to watch his videos, I'm good.

Also Napoleon Hill suggest this. What's better to drag you up, than something or someone who's already up there? Who can guide your way so you don't go astray.

@Calonlan - That is great advice - I realise I have been sort of looking for this without realising it. Thanks for commenting.

First of all, I'm pointing out that the guide you referenced, is just that. It is a reference guide for learning to work through emotions rather than the ultimate knowledge on how our emotional processes work. It is a very good guide. Second, it would take a lot of work (and probably a disconnection from the 'outside world') to remain in constant joy. No matter how enlightened you become, your emotions won't take a vacation. An experienced, enlightened person will know how to not fall prey to the emotions. Third, I agree with the comment made to the effect that you should 'flow' with the 'ups and downs' in life. It's a lot more serving to you than the opposition would be. answered 25 Jul '12, 18:23 ZenMama Go with the flow:)

Since you are the only one who has control over your mind, you are the only one who can answer that. First you must decide that is what you want and then look at every situation from that perspective. Always "Looking for sunshine in the rain," as I put it. A guidline to help you is that if you don't want to go there physically, don't go there mentally. Don't create in your mind scenarios that would trip you up or cause you to fall into the Downward Spiral emotions. Just don't go there. If you find it difficult to stop creating disturbing scenarios in your mind or in reality, use Two Hands Touching. You can also use it with affirmations or with visualization which is not the same for everybody. Since we create our own reality, we might as well create a great one that we enjoy and keeps us in the Upward Spiral. answered 24 Jul '12, 15:04 Fairy Princess |
Those two spirals, right there, do you see what's the main difference between them? Purpose. Either you're going somewhere, or you're going around. Going somewhere, especially with desire and love for your purpose, you're unstoppable. But going around waiting for something to happen generates everything on the downward spiral. How can you ever get bored if you have something to live for, strive for, fight for every single day? You can't. Find something worth living for, dive into it. Awesome life from there on. I promise. You pick up a worthy (in your eyes and heart) purpose of going through your day, you automatically drop all the bull**** from your life. Fulfilling life guaranteed. You will go through your life and won't understand why are people struggling at all. C'mon get a purpose that you love, you will destroy all your fears and negativity that may have been there in your life before.
But really, be honest, choose to live only for that which really, I mean REALLY fills you with LOVE and SATISFACTION, not merely because it fills your bank account. answered 19 Jul '12, 10:18 CalonLan |
by knowing the truth. look at your 2 image are they not opposite. so if you unite them together you know the truth about them(and by knowing the truth it does not bother you anny more it is solve.) and you stand at the same place and still can make anny choice you want. you have free will experience and enjoy. (22) Jesus saw infants being suckled. He said to his disciples, "These infants being suckled are like those who enter the kingdom." They said to him, "Shall we then, as children, enter the kingdom?" Jesus said to them, "When you make the two one, and when you make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below, and when you make the male and the female one and the same, so that the male not be male nor the female female; and when you fashion eyes in the place of an eye, and a hand in place of a hand, and a foot in place of a foot, and a likeness in place of a likeness; then will you enter the kingdom." Jesus said, "That which you have will save you if you bring it forth from yourselves. That which you do not have within you will kill you if you do not have it within you." Jesus said, "The images are manifest to man, but the light in them remains concealed in the image of the light of the father. He will become manifest, but his image will remain concealed by his light." Jesus said, "Why do you wash the outside of the cup? Do you not realize that he who made the inside is the same one who made the outside?" They said to him, "Tell us who you are so that we may believe in you." He said to them, "You read the face of the sky and of the earth, but you have not recognized the one who is before you, and you do not know how to read this moment." http://www.gnosis.org/naghamm/gthlamb.html be the light that you can be.experience and enjoy. answered 23 Jul '12, 17:18 white tiger |
